Very very expensive and no better than a Premier Inn

It was the only hotel I could book

Cons:

It was the most expensive hotel I have stayed at but it was no better than a Premier Inn in Reading. There wasn’t even shampoo in the shower. I was told that I should phone them for this - why do I have to get out the shower soaking yet to make a call for something as basic as shampoo lol

I think the staff are arrogant and don’t feel they need to try because people have to book this place for the conference and there aren’t many amenities nearby.

Pros:

Das Zimmer war gut, das Frühstücksbuffet war lecker, das Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Aussicht vom Frühstücksraum auf den Park war wunderschön und friedlich.

Cons:

Nicht jede braucht täglich ein komplettes Frühstücksbuffet. Es wäre schön zwei Varianten zu haben, Frühstücksbuffet oder kleines preisgünstigeres Frühstück.
Das Rezeptionspersonal am Abend war ausgesprochen freundlich, höflich und hilfsbereit, es wäre allerdings hilfreich, wären die Sprachkenntnisse etwas besser und der Umgang mit dem Computer etwas souveräner.

Etwas in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel mit Charme 😉
Pros:

Das Frühstück schreckt im 1ten Moment durch die hohen Kosten etwas ab, erfüllt dann aber mehr als das erwartete. Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal und sehr reichliches und abwechslungsreiches Buffet. Mein vollstes Lob dafür!
Besonders möchte ich die Bar loben. Wir sind nach einer Veranstaltung erst spät gekommen und waren die einzigen Gäste (10-12 Personen). Danke an Anja für den tollen, umsichtigen und freundlichen Service. So kann Bar auch gehen! Leider in der heutigen Zeit ein seltenes Juwel.

Cons:

Das nächste mal werde ich eine Kategorie höher buchen als Economy. Kleine stickige Räume (10m2) und wenn das Fenster offen ist Lärmbelastung (durch Straßenverkehr). Daher war für mich nach 3-4h Schlaf die Ruhephase vorbei.

Die Darstellung der Zimmerkategorie bei der Buchung entsprach nicht dem Zimmer, das wir erhalten haben. Die gezeigten Bilder und Angaben vermittelten einen deutlich anderen Eindruck hinsichtlich Raumaufteilung und Größe als das tatsächlich erhaltene Zimmer. Ein Klärungsversuch mit dem Hotel blieb leider ohne zufriedenstellende Klärung.

In Summe sehr gut
Pros:

Das Hotel war mit wenigen Ausnahmen sehr gut. Das Personal war extrem freudlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Vor allem der warme Teil war gut.
Mein zimmer war ausreichend groß., sauber und für den Preis ideal.

Cons:

Es gibt keine direkt zu bemängelnden Punkte. In Summe "fehlten" nur ein paar Quentchen, die ja auch gerade vom Hotel angegangen werden. Der Preis für das Frühstück ist ein wenig hoch, Und die Rechnungstellung erfordert noch Nacharbeit...

Sauber - etwas außerhalb - aber mit öPNV schnell in der City
Pros:

Hotel liegt am Stadtpark und nur 3 min. zu Fuß von U Bahn Linie 12 entfernt, welche einen direkt ( 5 Stationen) zur Stadtmitte bringt.
DZ war geräumig und man hatte genügend Stauraum ( offener Schrank) , man konnte zudem Fenster kippen.
Es gibt eine kostenpflichtige TG direkt am Hotel / 10,00 €
Ein-/ Auschecken ging super schnell und problemlos / sehr nettes Personal.

Cons:

Wir hatten im Badezimmer eine Badewanne - ist nicht so unser Ding, aber Duschen war problemlos möglich.
