We were only in Rome for two nights, but Hotel Selva Candida gave us a respite from the inner-city chaos. The property is gorgeous, the accommodations are comfortable, and the breakfast is a delicious selection!

The male receptionists weren’t friendly apart from the young lady in the morning .At first thought because of the language barrier but they were fluent in English with the other guests.So felt bit racism there.

A very secure hotel in Rome suited to drivers
Pros:

The hotel felt very secure and like a little haven outside of the busy streets of Rome. However, the A/C is almost non-existent and seams to be turned off by staff during the night which is very uncomfortable. We had to go to the front desk almost every night of our stay to ask them to turn the A/C back on and it miraculously started working again.

Pros:

First of all, the front desk staff were super friendly and always helpful with anything I needed!
The breakfast was very good.
However, the facilities are quite old, and there were electrical issues in the room.
Also, the room wasn’t clean. And the air conditioning was controlled only from frondest - so we need to ask for temperature changes.
