Great location. Staff was super friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back.
Nice stay near local attractions!
The staff are very helpful. The roof top breakfast is amazing. Thank you!
Dreadful hotel unfriendly unhelpful reception staff who prefer to ignore rather than acknowledge guests who pay their wages.
Room 111 is beyond awful requested a change but a definite no, the room was small with tatty furniture a thin rug which we tripped on many times. Bathroom was the worst I have ever stayed in, tiny we could barely turn around had to position ourselves beforehand.
The shower was super dangerous and would not pass health & safety just wouldn’t be allowed. A very high panel to step over into a half bath where the shower was extremely dangerous. No safety rails anywhere.
Disgusting hotel the rating should be zero.
The location is excellent if you want to be a walk away from historical charm. Everything was clean but very dated. As a base good but no home comforts. My single room (414) was tiny. My view of the Bosphorus tiny too.
WiFi good. Breakfast good. Staff good. USB sockets were a bonus!
Location is very convenient and it's a 2 mins walk to blue mosque. Has shops around the hotel. AC was not working although I tried. It was not a big deal. But it was late april. Good spread for breakfast and daily housekeeping is good. Good value for money.
After the crazy taxi drive got to hotel in one piece there was a few people around to take suit cases to room checked in room was big for 3 people clean tidy qutie woke for breakfast up on the room buffet coffee was nice hot n cold food could not picked a better place
Perfect location. Comfortable apartment. Breakfast is amazing and with a great view in the terrace.
The hotel is in a great location for all the historic sites. The highlight is the rooftop breakfast room that has superb views over the Blue Mosque. The downside is that the furniture in the room was dated but the beds had no issues. You get what you pay for so for me still good value for monry.
We booked a double room for 3 nights. The furniture in our room (221) needed updating. There was only 1 bedside cabinet. The bed was comfy. I mainly booked this hotel because it had a bath. So it was disappointing that it was only a half bath and not a full size bath. It was also missing a plug. We live in Türkiye and our apartment doesn't have a bath so I was really looking forward to a good long soak. Although Booking.com shows slippers, none were provided. Also, there are none of the usual free toiletries.
Breakfast is served on the rooftop with a great view of the Blue Mosque. It would have been nice to be able to have a drink here too but the bar wasn't open when we were here.
The best thing about the hotel was the location, the view from our bedroom and the view from the rooftop terrace.
Everything was great
Wonderful stay in Istanbul, excellent location for sightseeing, major attractions, great food and shopping.
I would stay here again
Excelente locación cerca de todo , el staff muy amable, super limpio . He estado en varios hoteles en Turquía y definitivamente este es uno de los mejores en cuanto a cercania caminando a los puntos de interés y restaurantes.
Staff were very helpful if we had any issues.
Views from hotel of both the mosques and sea were amazing.
Booked our taxi back to airport for us . Would definitely stay there again!
We enjoyed 2 nights at Hotel Fehmi Bey. This hotel is located very centrally within easy walking distance near many of the sites in the Sultanahmet district. The terrace at the top of the hotel has fantastic views over the harbour and blue mosque and we enjoyed 2 excellent breakfasts sat on the terrace. Staff were friendly and helpful.
We loved our time in Istanbul, enjoying an excellent walking tour, visits to the Blue mosque and Süleymaniye mosque, the Basilica cistern and a boat trip down the Bosphorous to the Asian side. We found locals to be friendly and helpful it was fun to see the Grand Bazaar and Spice markets.
A little gem of a hotel. Right in the heart of Sultanamet with all the historical attractions. Room was basic but very clean with maid service each day of our 3 night stay. Our room had fantastic views over the water. Room 412 - a twin. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast served on the roof terrace which again had the same fantastic views. Lovely to sit and enjoy a drink after a full day sightseeing.
We stayed in room 412, will definitely request- same view as the terrace above. I usually sleep with earplugs, didn’t need. But I will say at breakfast time, a lot of moving above, but I didn’t care.
This was my husbands and my 5th time in Istanbul and for sure we will come back to this hotel.
They were very helpful, the restaurant staff polite and the cleaning staff was amazing.
The Fehmi Bey is in the old city within walking distance of an abundance of tourist attractions. One of the views from the roof terrace is of the Blue Mosque with the sea in the distance.
The clean rooms are small but adequate although a second bedside cabinet would have been a bonus and speaking as an OAP I was afraid to stand in the bath to take a shower due to the slippery surface and lack of shower mat. The bath also had very high sides making it difficult for an older person to get in and out.
The staff, without exception, were excellent, friendly and helpful.
This is a basic hotel and would benefit from an upgrade so anyone expecting luxury would be disappointed but for my husband and myself the position outweighs the disadvantages.
The hotel also boasts an excellent, well run coffee shop serving delicious coffee and cakes.
Beautiful clean lovelly food nice family business. Good welcome and respect. We really loved it the bed best bed cleaned every day lovelly so sad to go but going back october . Thankyou to all of you miss you. Mr nagi room 211.
