A nice and calm retreat!
Pros:

This hotel offers old world charm in the midst of a chaotic and noisy city. That is not a dig on Palermo, just explaining that stepping in to the hotel provides a calm and quiet escape from the outside world. You can sit outside with the coffee made fresh in the lobby for you, sit at the wee lobby bar and enjoy a reasonably priced refreshment, and enjoy a walk in the lovely botanical gardens adjacent to the hotel. The folks here are kind and welcoming, as well.

Cons:

Perhaps have the air conditioning units cleaned because the room and the lobby never got as cold as I would have liked. Mind you, it was 97 degrees outside, so higher than normal temperatures, but a good cleaning would provide a cooler inside experience. Thank you and see you soon!

Good reliable hotel near train station
Pros:

Good reliable hotel that is easily reached from the main train station (and bus terminals). Service and facilities are good. It's not very close to some of the main historical sites like the Palazzo dei Normanni or the main restaurant neighbourhoods, but it's not that hard to walk to these too if you're not in a big hurry. Location is relatively quiet despite being off a main road.

Das Hotel besticht durch seine Lage und es gibt kostenlosen Parkplatz für den Mietwagen!

Die Lage war sehr gut! Sehr nahe an der Altstadt!
Die Klimaanlage war sehr wichtig!
Wlan hat gut funkioniert!
