BLUESEA Costa Bastian

I was very sceptical coming here reading the reviews on this hotel and I honestly agree with half of them. We were here for 8 days and although the weather wasn’t the best we tried to get out and do things. The excursion shop in the reception was closed so we had to find one out in the town. The food was absolutely rancid!! I wouldn’t even feed it my dog!! One night I got chicken curry and bit into it and it was bright pink. The food was always cold and honestly looked like they had used the leftovers from the day before always bland. We had to eat out from then all week! There was some lovely restaurants a few minutes away from the hotel. The drinks you had to pay €1 for 1 cup which was reasonable but could only drink the cocktail of the day otherwise you would be paying a bomb for cocktails.

The hotel room was lovely always cleaned by the lovely cleaners couldn’t fault that but I noticed some ants in the room they would only appear with movement. I just wouldn’t leave anything they could get into down on the sides. Now with the weather not being the best we would go up to the room to try and warm up but the air con/heater wasn’t working and the rooms were absolutely freezing.

The entertainment around the pool was non existent and at the night time it was always the same thing always the same girl.

There is a empty block of abandoned flats or an abandoned hotel which is full of homeless people I would be so careful walking around the night make sure your with someone it looked very dodgy and when walking past we were getting looked at though the gate.

I could write so much about this place but I would be here forever. Please please please look into this place before booking. There is some positives but so many negatives.

Everything was very good ,breakfast selection 👌. Plenty of table's in restaurant. Very clean. Staff very good. Room cleaned every 2nd day.

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at this hotel. The staff are so friendly and can't do enough for you. The entertainment is really good and wide ranging. There is a great selection for meals and a wide selection. The hotel has a real relaxed friendly atmosphere and just helps make your holiday. We look forward to returning in December

La ubicación

Was very nervous when I read the reviews before arrival.
The whole hotel was Spotless, absolutely immaculate.
We requested a quiet room , we were on the 3rd floor over looking the pool. Perfect.
Reception was a little slow on check in, no stress we are on holiday!
There is a lift, bonus!
Tea and coffee on arrival in the rooms, but not replenished, you can purchase at Reception.
Sadly no bottled water in the room fridge, again can be purchased. Plenty of water stations throughout the hotel.
Beds, comfy, lovely pillows and plenty of cushions.
Food, im a faddy vegetarian. I found plenty of choice every night. Cheese and biscuits are available at every tea time meal ! Bonus! Most 5*do not provide this! Pizza chips and chicken nuggets for children along with some sort of pasta every evening.
The pool bar was a little disappointing for a veggie, beef burgers salad and chips only. The food was not HOT but there are 2 microwaves available for use. Its the Spaniards way to eat food at this temperature.
There was very little entertainment due to the weather, bingo was on... it didn't really bother us as we went exploring each day and quite tired at the end of the day.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the staff were friendly and great customer service.
Rooms cleaned each day. Not even too early if you fancied a lay in.
We are all different, but im staggered how people can say the food was boring.
Really enjoyed our stay.
I would say its 25 to 30 minute walk to the square.

The singer Curi in bar was exceptional

LA LIMPIEZA

Having stayed for a few nights in November last year I re-booked for a 4 night stay with my mother in February.
I emailed reception (which was acknowledged) requesting a balcony with sun in the afternoon.
We were allocated room 352 which we found out the following day attracts NO sun at any part of the day !! 🤯
There’s about 10 rooms over 3 floors in this area facing north toward the pool (see pic) with balconies with high walls either side bringing no sun at all.
Avoid.
The hotel was only 50% capacity at best, no excuse to ignore my request, what a disappointment.
Everything else about the hotel was fine, see my previous review, we were AI so took advantage of the food and drink with no requirement to eat out or leave the hotel,
Not sure whether we’ll return following our loyalty not being recognised 🤔

Well sized, clean room. Nice pool facilities.

The location is clean, and there was plenty of food. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Hotel/villaggio dotato di tutti i comfort: piscine, ristorante interno, mini-market, bar, animazione per bambini e adulti, camere con terrazzo, bagno con bidet. Ben posizionato a Costa Teguise. Due malfunzionamenti nel bagno (lavabo ostruito e bidet senza acqua fredda) sono stati prontamente risolti dallo staff.

We are currently staying here and on our last day of a 7 day holiday at this hotel.
The hotel is extremely clean, the rooms are lovely and clean, nice and spacious and beautifuly decorated and are cleaned every single day and fresh towels provided every day
The pool areas are all realy clean.
The staff are all super friendly and all work tirelessly.
There is no shortage of sunbeds and no fighting for areas in the sun.
All the drinks are realy nice and some of the all inclusive spirits are branded for example the pink gin is Gordon's and tge vodka is smirnoff.
A different cocktail is all inclusive each day.
The only negative is the food at this hotel, it is far from a 4 star standard,breakfast was always a good selection of hot an cold. Lunch and evening meals are very hit an miss and very limited selection, we are far from fussy but after the 1st day we decided to have our main meal out at a resteraunt.
There are bars and restaurants a 5 minute walk around the corner. We went to the wok Chinese in santa Rosa and a bit further along from there is a lovely pizza restaurant/take away called la bubi,very nice pizzas and not expensive-again only a short 5to 10 minute walk from the hotel.
There is a square with lots of bars and restaurants/shops about a 20 minute walk from the hotel or 2minutes in a taxi for 4 euros. We chose to walk it every day. Can highly recommend the tic toc bar and el patio resteraunt at the square, lovely cocktails at tic too and beautifully cooked steaks at el patio.
We are booking again for early next year, dont be put off by bad reviews this hotel is lovely its just the food that let's it down. That been said there is plenty to snack on from the restaurant and the pool bar does nice sandwiches and each day they do either hot dogs, burgers or chicken nuggets and fries.
All in all a realy nice relaxing holiday in a nice relaxing hotel.
