Wunderschöne Lage. Personal sehr freundlich. Essen sehr sehr lecker. Das Büfett immer Tipi topi appetitlich. Kompliment an die Küche!!!!!

Really enjoyed our stay here. Hotel is exceptionally clean and the staff were all really friendly. Willing to have a chat and help with any questions about the area.
Food was of good quality and plentiful. The gin and tonics, Pepsi max, and lattes were wonderful too

Bargain break away in Portugal ! 🇵🇹 Great location on the beach with Albufeira town a 30 minute leisurely stroll . Plenty of steps which will definitely be a problem with people with mobility issues . The rooms were fine if a little dated and our balcony door wouldn’t shut properly and was an open invitation for mosquitoes ! Restaurant was nicely appointed and the food was adequate and plentiful if a little repetitive . The staff were friendly be communal areas well kept and clean . Good choice if all inclusive local drinks . Animation team also work hard . Don’t expect the Ritz but got the price we paid…any enjoyable out of season post Christmas break ! Weather was good and an added bonus was the free shuttle bus to the town . Our only real gripe was the check in procedure with the queue out of the main doors and the rooms not available until 3pm ! As seasoned travellers we have not experienced this abroad before baring in mind we had been awake since 3am !

We stayed here in room 413 from 22-29 January. The room was spotlessly clean. Comfortable bed, lovely over bath shower with hot water and good water pressure every day. The food was excellent, there was only one evening meal that was not to our taste but that is personal choice. The ice cream was amazing. The food offering during the day for snacks was always burger or a pasta dish all tasty enough. The entertainment was fun, drinks were good and strong so beware. Staff were very polite and excellent from bar staff to restaurant staff to reception staff. No complaints from a couple age 59/70. We had 3 major storms Ingrid, Joseph and Kristen the latter was hurricane force but we felt safe in the hotel. Yes the hotel is dated which adds to its charm. We would definitely stay again without any doubt. It is probably 3* but well worth what you pay to stay 😀

Canny hotel and the food was quite good with plenty of choice. They catered for vegans. Breakfast - lots of cereals, fresh fruit and tinned fruit, cheese, cooked meats, tiny hot dogs, bacon, scrambled, hard boiled and fried eggs, mushrooms, beans, hash browns, croissants, bread and pastries. For lunch and dinner 2 soups with bread, every day two types of fish, chicken or turkey, lamb or beef, pasta, potatoes, carrots, cabbage or sprouts sometimes. Lots of salad with 3 dressings. Calamari was nice and one day we had fresh salmon and duck with an orange sauce and another night there was some paella. Lots of cakes and ice-cream. The plates were hot or warm but as it was a buffet so the food was not hot. It was ok but if you like your food piping hot, there is a microwave. Three wines, port, sangria and one beer on tap, also lots of soft drinks and water. To be honest I loved the variety of food and the best all inclusive I have had in Europe. You could get hot and cold drinks in the lobby but no alcohol.
Hotel needs a bit upgrading. Lots of stairs to the restaurant and more further down to the entertainment room but there are lifts in the main blocks. Entertainment was good on Friday and Saturday but on week days they had just music or karaoke or bingo (which was appalling). The beds were comfortable , there was a large wardrobe and a fridge. The bathroom had a bidet and toiletries. The rooms were cleaned everyday and we had clean towels every day. No hairdryers but you could ask for one. We took a travel one. The staff were lovely and very helpful. Unfortunately we had 2 storms and the rain got in through the windows on the way to the restaurant so there were lots of mats to soak up the rain. They have a free shuttle bus to the old town three times a day off peak and 6 times a day during the summer. As it rained every day at some point, no-one went into the pools or outside. They do have an indoor pool though. The pool bar is near the pool so if you wanted a drink during the day, the were open from 10am to 5pm and had lots of snacks, burgers, sandwiches and hotdogs. You had to go outside to get to the pool bar. All in all we made a lot of friends and had a good time. It was a pity about the weather.
