Belle maison Relais&Château
Pros:

Bel maison de maître avec un beau jardin. Les chambres sont confortables, le petit déjeuner et le repas du soir sont excellents. Au dessus de Funchal, au milieu du parcours de golf. Parking, Spa, yoga, piscine.

Beautiful country estate with stunning views and lovely staff.
Pros:

Everything about our stay was fantastic. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Location was perfect, up in the hills but close to Funchal. You are surrounded by nature with access to the Palheiro Gardens which are beautiful. A shuttle bus is provided to drop and collect from Funchal town centre every day and also to the Vista Balancal Restaurant which is onsite at the golf house. The views of the bay from here are stunning and the food is exceptional. Breakfast - fabulous choice with the option to enjoy on the terrace. Pool was really nice and the overall atmosphere in this country estate is very relaxing and quiet. A very memorable stay.

An amazing hotel
Pros:

A beautiful hotel. Very comfortable with an excellent cuisine and decoration. I intend to go back as I have not seen the fireworks of 2025. However the Director of the Hotel tried her best to support me.

A very relaxing stay
Pros:

The location was perfect, away from the hustle and bustle of Funchal. The hotel was beautifully serene, excellent service without being over the top. Complimentary access to adjacent gardens and a challenging golf course gave us everything we wanted for a winter break.

A very pleasant and relaxing week, just outside of Funchal. Fantastic property with an even more fantastic garden as the nearest neighbor, we would highly recommend a stay

Pros:
