Beautiful views for a relaxing stay
Pros:

The reception staff are truly exceptional and went above and beyond to help us with some car troubles. We also received a bottle of sparkling wine as a welcome gift which was a nice touch! The views are seriously impressive and we enjoyed sitting on the balcony each evening. The town is small so the hotel is close to everything. The room itself was a good size and modern with nice amenities. We were travelling with our 8 month old and felt the hotel had a good set up for families and enjoyed using the indoor pool

Cons:

Unfortunately the food here is not good but also in Porto Moniz in general the food is terrible so it’s hard to find good places to eat. The hotel restaurant prices are quite high for quite mediocre food, over cooked and bland. Parking is very limited so it can be a bit stressful when you first arrive. For the room itself it would have been nice to have some more toiletries like shampoo and conditioner which I would expect for a 4 star hotel.

Aqua Natura Madeira als prima alternatief aangeboden
Pros:

Wegens een onderhoudsprobleem zijn we omgeboekt naar Aqua Natura Madeira. Hoogwaardige materialen en een heerlijk bed. Gelegen naast de natuurbaden en gebruik daarvan is inbegrepen. Gratis parkeerplek voor de deur was een toevalstreffer. Je mag - ondanks de blauwe zone - gewoon blijven staan.
Goed ontbijt.

Cons:

Douchen in bad is niet mijn keuze.

Week exploring Porto Moniz
Pros:

Handy for the lava pools. Equally as a base for the week exploring the north and west of Madeira.

Cons:

The staff in every job were exceptional, diligent and very polite. However, insufficient food available at breakfast. Particularly juices.
