Too expensive for what you get
Pros:

The very nice and welcoming owner

Cons:

The cleaning the rooms and bathroom was poor
Breakfast: nothing changed , every day the same basic ingredients

Hervorragendes Hotel
Pros:

Das Zimmer war sehr ruhig, groß und mit einer Sitzecke ausgestattet.
Sowohl das Zimmer, als auch das Bad hatten jeweils Fliegengitter vor den Fenstern. Zusätzlich war auch ein Klimagerät vorhanden.
Das Frühstück war sehr gut und umfangreich.
Eine ausreichende Anzahl von PKW-Stellplätzen war direkt am Hotel vorhanden.
Alle Mitarbeitende waren sehr freundlich und professionell.

Buitengewoon attent personeel
Pros:

Het ontbijt is buitengewoon goed te noemen!! Niets op aan te merken.
Het personeel is supervriendelijk en attent, echt een verademing!

Cons:

Het hotel is ingericht,voor mijn gevoel, nog steeds naar de jaren 80. Niets meer, niets minder.
Volgens Booking.com zijn er een hoop extra's in de kamer, daar klopt helemaal niets van.
Maar de sfeer die er hangt maakt veel goed hoor

Die Klimaanlage hat unser Aufenthalt gerettet! Das Frühstück war gut, der Kaffee lecker und auf Wunsch wurde Rühr- oder Spiegelei gemacht.

Pros:

Very lovely independently run hotel. Very helpful and friendly staff/ family owners. The room was very comfortable and spacious with everything we needed. Breakfast was superbly presented and delicious. It was a real bonus to have the Black Forest free transport cards. The lovely town centre was a short walk away.

Ideale plek voor zowel Schwarzwald als Elzas
Pros:

Mooie kamer met airco en rolluiken. Vriendelijk personeel, goed ontbijt. Snelle lift, parkeren voor de deur op eigen terrein. Goede ligging, niet ver van snelweg en ideale ligging voor zowel schwarzwald als Elzas te ontdekken. Je bent ook zo in Freiburg, er wordt ook een kaartje voor openbaar vervoer aangeboden.

Cons:

Niets, ik heb waarschijnlijk niet goed opgelet met boeken. Ik was in de veronderstelling dat er wellness aanwezig was in het hotel. In de plaats is een groot kuuroord en daar kun je natuurlijk naar toe ( tegen betaling). Nu was het tijdens ons bezoek zo warm dat een sauna te veel van het goede zou zijn geweest.

Die Unterkunft ist mega toll . Die Matrazen sehr gut ,,,gutes Liegen am Morgen kein Rückenweh gut ausgeschlafen . Gute Verdunkelung … Frühstück perfekt

Vi blev fra personalet anbefalet at besøge Staufen. Vi gik dertil, og det var en virkelig dejlig tur

morgenmaden var virkelig dejlig, personalet var virkelig søde og hjælpsomme. Meget stort service niveau. Hotellet var nemt at finde og lå virkelig godt i forhold til vores behov. Vi havde 2 overnatninger her inden vi skulle videre til Italien.
