La Bastide Saint Georges

Lovely hotel and wonderful staff.

Breakfasts poor and service bad. Checkout was a problem despite prepaid stay but the lady claimed she could not see the paiment.
The premises are very nice but the level of service has to improve

Wow what a beautiful property. Service was impeccable. Grounds were stunning. Staff were helpful and kind!

We came for 2 nights. We should have stayed at least 4. Charming hotel , very nice pool and small spa, excelent service , very nice and spacious Provence discrete luxury rooms , and Gia de restaurant was amazing (food and view). Close driving to the Lavander amazing fields, and the town of Forcalquier is very nice petit town. Highly recommended.

Fantastisch hotel met mooie voorzieningen. Kamer met privé zwembad gehad voorzien van alle luxe.
Jammer dat het restaurant 1 dag in de week dicht is. Zo ook de bar s’avonds. Verder een super hotel.

Chambre à 240€/nuit, literie inconfortable, moisisures plafond, odeurs désagréables tentées d’être masquées avec un diffuseur parfum, et en prime nous n’avions pas d’eau chaude. L’extérieur est magnifique, ceux qui aiment spa, sauna, piscine seront satisfaits. Nous avions choisi cet hôtel pour avoir une chambre très confortable ! DECUS…..

Bel établissement. Chambres confortables. Cependant, bien que l’équipe soit agréable et disponible, le service n’est pas à la hauteur de la catégorie (vérification de la propreté des espaces living et terrasses après passage des clients, nombreuses guêpes dans la piscine, ...)
Pour la partie petite restauration: très bien.

Le calme et belle piscine lieu sympathique a refaire

Hôtel vieillot, villa avec un aménagement sommaire et défraîchi en bord de route.
Petit déjeuner très quelconque.

It was a great stay with very good service. The lady of the couple that own the place was extremely helpful with information on venues in the region. Small area for improvement is the Wifi coverage is generally weak and slowish.

Hotelzimmer war komfortabel und sauber. Zimmerwahl war nicht so optimal weil es schaut gerade über Rezeptionseingang. Zimmer Airconditioninggerät war kompliziert und/oder Fernbediener kaputt war.

Très joli hotel, bien entretenu. Chambre magnifique et parties communes très agréable. L' espace autour de la piscine est un peu restreint néanmoins. Le personnel est très avenant et serviable. Très bonne expérience.

We loved the Bastide St Georges in little Forcalquier. We went to the town to see the surrounding lavender fields, and were surprised by the lovely hotel. We did not expect a beautifully decorated, large room with a modern bath, our own terrace, and gorgeous grounds with great views. The breakfast was also wonderful, plenty of delicious and fresh choices. The parking was free also. It was a wonderful place to start the end the days, with a charming lobby, friendly staff, and a cute bar.

This was an excellent hotel we would recommend this hotel to friends and family.In a beautiful setting and quiet.

Beautiful, spacious, comfortable first class accommodation. You won't be disappointed if you stay here. The staff could not have been any nicer. Everything was so nice, we chose to stay a second night at Bastide St. George We did not eat at the hotel. The owner recommended going into town and eating at a local restaurant called Le Petit Jardin by Michele. After 10+ years of trips to France, this is the best food we have ever had!! We actually decided to remain in the area for another night just so we could return to that restaurant (Le Petite Jardin) and enjoy another scrumptious meal.

Beautiful accommodations, great, friendly staff, 10 minute drive into town. Skip the massage, it was not worth the money. Go into town and eat at LE PETITE JARDIN by MICHELE. Best food in all the France!
