An interesting old brick 'manor house' . Owner was very helpful and attentive. We could choose which twin room we wanted. Our chosen room was clean, warm and quiet. Bathroom was also clean and bright with good facilities. Plenty of tea and coffee provided. Didn't have breakfast but breakfast room looked nice. Easy walking distance to Reading centre.
No complaints
I was happy to stay overnight here as I was in Reading for a function. Easy access to the town centre by bus (& taxi for the return) My booked room was upgraded ,( thank you) . It was warm, comfortable with a very good shower. Tea and coffee making facilities were well stocked and there was good hanging space for clothes and I noticed an ironing board .(Didn't need to use it )
I didn't have breakfast in the hotel so can't comment on that.
nothing major however the fan in the bathroom was noisy
Very clean, friendly and helpful staff, good service, comfortable bed
None
The standard of customer service was excellent, rarely found nowadays. Great comfortable rooms and fantastic breakfast. The team here couldn’t do enough for you.
Everything was to my liking.
Good communication prior to stay. Warm welcome, clean and comfortable. Everything explained, nothing was to much trouble.
Nothing
Homely
Nothing at all
Very good location - we were visiting relatives nearby. Large bedroom, large bedroom. Comfortable bed.
Nothing I can think of.
Excellent rooms very clean.
Brilliant customer service, lovely brekkie, kind and knowledgeable staff, clean, spacious and well equipped room
Having to leave
Rust, ruimte en makkelijk parkeren.
Ontbijt was niet best.
Excellent choice for breakfast.
Right on the bus route into Reading. Frequent service.
Room a bit chilly in the evening. An hour with the heating on would have been welcome.
Location was good for us as we were visiting family members in Tadley and Devizes. Parking facilities and Bath Rd were positives.
Beautiful exterior
Run down, dingy, old interior. Felt like I was staying at grandmas house - outdated bedspreads and linens- gross.
