Important information:

Traffic is restricted in the area surrounding the hotel. Guests traveling by car are advised to leave the car in one of the 2 public car parks with which the hotel has agreements entitling guests to a discount on parking.

Both of these car parks offer parking for EUR 19.50 per 24 hours. Guests pay for parking in the hotel and the hotel gives out tickets when you need the car. The hotel cannot reserve car parking spaces as it is a public car park.

The 2 car parks are Parking Plaza Puerta Real on Acera Del Casino, and Parking Triunfo on Avenida de la Constitucion, in front of the Jardines Del Triunfo. Parking Plaza Puerta Real is nearest to the hotel.

Location is great, breakfast is excellent. Front desk staff is mediocre. DON'T LOSE YOUR KEY!!

Cons:

Staff couldn't put us in a room with 2 twin beds, even though we booked 1 month before arriving. They did set us up in a room with 2 twin beds the second night. We are not married...just friends! Also, misplaced our key and one would have thought the world had ended the way the front desk reacted. They told us this had never happened before. REALLY??? I was charged 25 euro to replace it.

The hotel was charming, but just needs a better way to welcome guests who have never experienced the special restriction
Pros:

Beautiful old building. It was nice that there was someone at reception 24 hrs. We were shown a map of the old town and highlights to see.

Cons:

It was very difficult to find the narrow alley that led to the hotel. If it is your first time in Granada, you use Google Maps and the actual hotel alley that meets the main street below does not have any signage. Very confusing. Also, we got a message about parking in a lot that has an arrangement with the hotel, but we were unable to get to the lot because it crosses the UNESCO zone and the streets were closed. This was our first time in Granada and it would have been helpful to know that Easter processions were occurring everywhere in the city and even walking on certain streets was not allowed.

Gorgeous place to stay.
Pros:

Everything was just spot on: the location, the atmosphere, the surroundings. Hosts were very welcoming, polite, knowledgable and eager to help. Room was very cozy, clean and felt like you were in an ancient palace. Breakfast was very good and filling. We loved the stay and would highly recommend!
