Hotel Cannobio

Stayed 3 nights very comfortable stay Breakfast wonderful clean only thing I could say would have an iron in the room amazing views peaceful Ladies only take flats comfortable shoes

The hotel is very well located in a beautiful historic building with a lovely view on the lake and the typical harbor. The staff was very kind and helpful when we arrived as we didn’t know how to get to the hotel by car because it’s pedestrian.

We had 2 rooms with balcony and we enjoyed the view all the evening But the confort of the rooms and the service were not what we expected for a 4 stars hotel.

There was no air conditioning even if it was the end of May with 25/28 degrees so the rooms were too hot for sleeping. In the morning the receptionist told us that we could open the windows… yes we did but it was still hot and so we could hear the noise from the street behind and from the train on the lakeside.

All the night we had the light from the street lights as there was no curtain to stop it and from 5am we woke up because of the daylight in the room. At 6am I moved all the furniture from the balcony into my small room to be able to close the shutters in hope to be able to sleep more.

I have to mention that in the evening I enjoyed the TV from the room next door to mine and then the snoring of my neighbors… we can hear everything that happen through the hotel in the rooms.

The mattress were too hard and so painful for our backs but that can be ok for others.

The cherry on the top of the cake : The breakfast was very disappointing and expensive for the standard quality of the products.

In resume, it’s a 3 stars confort good for one night maximum not a 4 stars.

The receptionist the day we leave made feel us not considered. We won’t go back to this place.

Hotel Cannobio is gem.

Leider war der Empfang der anwesenden Person dürftig.
Sie wirkte irgendwie überfordert, bei der Anfrage auf ein Zimmer mit Balkon.
Das Essen hingegen und der Service im Garten war hervorragend.

Perfekt beliggenhed og superflot service. Smuk morgenmadsterrasse med fin morgenmad. Hotel sørger for at parkere din bil i et nærliggende, aflåst p-hus. Cannobio er en fantastisk lille by med smuk beliggenhed.

oikein mukava ja siisti hotelli. huoneista komea näköala ja erittäin hyvä aamiainen. Maanalainen parkkihalli on erittäin ahdas ja hankala.

Es hatt uns sehr gefallen wir werden bestimmt wieder kommen.

This definitely must be the best hotel in Cannobio. First, the location can't be beaten. Right at the main promenade, with beautiful vistas, and with all places of interest within an easy stroll.

The hotel must have undergone a recent refurbishment or re-painting. Both on the outside and the inside the paint looks very fresh, and there are no signs whatsoever of the wear or tiredness that often plagues old buildings.

The rooms are very nice, decorated in a classical Italian style that matches the building and the surroundings very well. You've got everything that you need, everything is in perfect working order. Our room had a small balcony, which we loved. The views from there are incredible. Sitting there in the evening and overviewing the lake and the life on the promenade is perfect to wind down a day.

The service is also excellent and the staff are very friendly. And although room rates may be at the upper end of the range in Cannobio, they are still very reasonable in comparison to what you pay for similar hotels in other tourist destinations.

Just one word of caution - the food outlets connected to the hotel can't keep up with its standard. Since there are plenty of dining options in the area, this is not an issue.

All in all we enjoyed our stay a lot and didn't find anything to fault. If you are in Cannobio, I can't think of a better place to stay. Highly recommended.

Sehr schönes Hotel in einer Umgebung, die keine Wünsche offen liess. Lage am See (mit Bademöglichkeit in der Nähe) und Service waren perfekt. Das Frühstück, das bei herrlichem Wetter vor dem Hotel eingenommen werden konnte, war vielseitig und sehr lecker. Extrawünsche wurden sofort erfüllt. Im nächsten Jahr kommen wir gern wieder, werden uns dann aber um ein Zimmer bemühen, das nicht im ausgebauten Dachgeschoss liegt. Unser Zimmer war zwar sehr geräumig, aber eher nüchtern eingerichtet und auch etwas dunkel. Lediglich zwei kleine Gauben (davon eine im Bad) ermöglichten einen Blick auf den See.

Door ernstige familiaire problemen moest ik mijn vakantie hier na 1 dag afbreken. Echt een super hotel, komen met de auto op het plein aan en worden geholpen bij uitladen en men rijd de auto voor je weg. (Wordt ook weer elke keer terug gebracht indien gewenst) wij hadden een junior suite met bad en balkon. keken direct op het lago maggiore uit. kamer super mooi. Ontbijt geweldig, wat een mooi hotel, je wordt als koning bediend. In de nacht nog een glas aperoll spritz voor mijn vrouw gemaakt
