We spent 5 nights in this hotel, the staff went over and above to make us feel welcome and make our stay so memorable. We had half board and were more than happy with the food, it was good home cooking, and the breakfast was plentiful. This hotel is perfect for people who love nature the views and sunsets are amazing. If you love being immersed in a family hotel with no airs and graces this hotel is for you. The pool is perfect for taking all your stresses away, not a swimming pool but a bathing pool, wonderful. We must thank all the staff for helping us destress in these 5 days, especially Alex and Fendi.
Wonderful family run hotel in the hills of Ischia. A nature paradise with beautiful views of Casamichola and the ocean below.
Wonderful hot spring fed thermal pool.
Hosts are lovely, hotel is very clean and breakfast was good.
Great value for your money.
A beautiful place to escape for a few days.
Thank you to the hosts for a wonderful stay!
We spent 6 nights at this hotel during August 2019. The check-in was ok, even though the receptionist didn’t know we had a reservation at first so we had to show the receipt from our booking agency. We had to pay taxes at the check-in (1€/day/person) even though we pre-payed taxes before we arrived). The staff didn’t speak English (other than very basic words). The hotel was dirty. Cats had peed in the stairways and around the pool - the stench was awe full every day. We didn’t get fresh towels during ALL WEEK even though we left the towels on the floor when we left the room. Also, they didn’t change the bed linen during all week. There was no AC in the room and when we tried to contact the reception, no one was there - during ALL WEEK. The first night was a true nightmare with karaoke right outside our window (which we didn’t get any information about!!) and we had to sleep with an open window because of the lack of AC!
The hotel is branding itself as a 3 start hotel but the standard is nothing near what you would expect for a 3 star hotel. Our bed linnen was not changed for the entire stay (6 nights), our towels only got changed once even though we put the towels on the floor each day and there is a strong smell of dampness and cat urine. In addition, there is basically no staff to be found. We met one receptionist when we checked-in but other than that the reception was unmanned throught the week and if you are able to find someone it is very difficult to communicate in other languages than Italian... Moreover, there was a kareoke party righ outside our window the first night until 3 AM and we had to keep an open window since we had no AC. The hotel is however cheap and the view is amazing. There is also a bus stop right outside the hotel which is great. Thus, if you just want somewhere to sleep and don't mind the smell and dirtyness the hotel works fine. However, if you are looking for something comfortable I would recommend to stay at another hotel.
Hotel raggiungibile solo con mezzi privati. Distante un paio di km (in rigorosa salita) dal centro di Casamicciola.
Stanze medie senza aria condizionata, frigobar o altro. Personale simpatico, camere non pulitissime.
Lo consiglio raggiungibile facilmente prendendo un pullman che passa ogni ora.
I went to Hotel Villa Fiorentina with my family and we fell in love to this place and the service.
We felt welcomed as at home.
I would highly recommend this place to everyone, the hotel is prepared to receive all people and I will definitely be back.
We arrived to be shouted at from a top floor balcony about which room we were in and when the buses came. No check-in procedure or friendly welcome at all. The apartment was dirty and dated and cold, but beyond that everything from bedding to towels were old and musty. There is a rustic charm and then there is just below the level of basic comfort and sadly this is the latter. At dinner we were refused a menu and offered by a sullen waiter two dishes to eat only, the town is a 30 minute walk or bus ride so popping down at night isn't really an option. I think once upon a time when the owner cared for the building and his business is was clearly a very beautiful and charming building, but 3 star hotel it is not. The location is stunning and the walk in to town is fine in day light, but buses back would be advised. We left before we were due to (the owner didn't seemed shocked but tried to over charge us for the meals we had been suffered to) and we certainly wouldn't recommend this hotel unless you are looking for something on a tight budget and don't plan to spend much time there.
We are a couple traveling for vacations in Ischia and we really would like to recommend this hotel.
The apartment is like a house. There's 2 rooms, 1 suite, a big balcony with see view. We could cook there. The hotel have an excellent breakfast and an amazing warm pool. Everyday the apartment was cleaned. Plants and threes are for everywhere. The environment is familiar.
Thank you for this great stay!

Mi sono recato in questa struttura per una vacanza!!!
L hotel se nn si hanno troppe pretese va piu che bene!!!
Personale gentile e cordiale ,sempre disponibili a dare informazioni sull isola e sui luoghi da visitare !!!
Wouldn't go back to hotel or Ischia Island again not nice and expensive
We booked a last minute deal to ischia and booked this hotel, very cheap so cant complain.....although there were just a few things, being October we were very very cold at night as its Europe you just have the sheets and a blanket there was a thicker cover in the wardrobe but it smelt damp and like it hadn't been washed in a loong time, we had no choice to use this though we just made sure it was on top of the sheets.
the water in the shower was never hot so we had to have quick showers and most of the time took it in turns to shower first as was a little warm as soon as you turn it on. Make sure you bring your own towels too, even though they are supplied they are very thin more like cloth.
Also i do not know if it is like this in every toilet but............its stinks!!! I heaved every time i went in and made sure the door was closed as it smells of pure urine from a cow or something.
We had bed and Continental breakfast, we went for breakfast once and did not bother going again as you have 3 cereals which seem to have been there for a long time a few meats and bread and a coffee machine, so we just bought our breakfast which was fresh from the lovely bakeries down the hill.
Overall th hotel is very pretty and people are nice, room overall clean just very basic and standard and toilet smelt, swimming pool looks lovely for summertime and views from room are very pretty.
The bus is every hour just outside the hotel, perfect for getting to and from the port and all the local shops, we always walked down and got the bus back up at night.
the bus is the cheapest way otherwise you will spend a fortune on taxis. Area is nice, patisseries lovely and island is stunning, real Italy, restaurants at the next port..ischia port are great we went there every night to eat.
Hotel would of been perfect if it was hot and sunny, just a very low star rating, but does the job! we had a laugh and enjoyed the short time we had on this island.
defiantly would not pay more than £50 a night for this though...so luckily we got a cheap deal. if you want basic and a bed ..perfect, if you want luxury ..not here i'm afraid.
We paid very little to stay in this hotel, so considered it good value for money. Our room was pretty basic (wobbly electric sockets and a 14" CRT TV we did not try to use) but okay. The gardens are nice with a swimming pool, and there are good views. Nice and peaceful.
From Casamicciola port a taxi driver quoted us 15 Euros to get to the hotel but he took us for 10 Euros when we walked away.
On arrival at the hotel we were shown to our room by the owner who was friendly enough and spoke good English. He gave us a bus timetable.
On the first day the water in the shower was cold and there was no one around at reception to help, but it was sorted the next day and fine thereafter.
The instructions in the room said guests cannot bring their own drinks into the room, which was odd especially as we could not see anywhere in the hotel that sold drinks!
Breakfast was alright: cereals, bread and ham or cheese, yogurts, tea and coffee. We did not have an evening meal.
There is free WiFi in the breakfast room and near reception, but it did not stretch to our room.
Our room was cleaned every day by a friendly cleaner, with fresh towels provided daily.
It is possible to walk from the hotel to Casamicciola down the hill, although there is not pavement all the way so it's unlikely you'd want to walk back up, especially at night. Bus 16 runs roughly hourly until late at night (at least in the summer), although we found the service unreliable. In our week there it was 20+ minutes late twice and didn't turn up at all twice. Sometimes it left early by a good ten minutes. From Casamicciola itself there are regular buses round the island, although be aware these can be very packed with people and a seat is a rarity. Some have wrap around adverts obscuring the view, which is a shame in such a pretty island. Tickets are cheap from newsagents, for example around 13 Euros for a weekly ticket that lasts until 24:00 Sunday.
In summary, we were glad we stayed here as a low cost base for exploring Ischia but it won't be for everyone.
We stayed for 7 nights, half-pension.
Room and bathroom are normal sized, nothing really matches each other decorative-wise. A few broken knobs, lights, but everything necessary worked.
Pool, shower, or sink, there's no cold water.
Bed is very hard, and two separate mattresses pushed together. They come apart a bit as well.
No air-flow through the room, no fan, and no A/C makes for some very warm summer nights.
The view is fantastic, and very relaxing by the pool.
The breakfast is Bologna, cheese, bread rolls/slices, and cereal, very basic and boring for 7 days in a row. The dinners range from palatable to weak, nothing terrible, but also not very plentiful. The dessert is a piece of fruit.
Staff is limited, service is therefore seldom and slow, but friendly enough.
The hotel is 3-4 bus stops from Casamicciola city center, and the bus comes once every hour. However, the bus stop is right at your doorstep.
It's overall a small, comfortable hotel, with few guests and even less noise. Ideal for a relaxed vacation with a significant other.
we recently stopped at this great hotel ,food was great , staff were great , the room was spacious and spotless, and all the other guests were freindly and everyone seem to bond and tell there own stories to other guests after dinner on the terrace it felt like a real family type owned hotel. One point i would make is that the chef who is called natalie is wasted in this family owned hotel when you taste his cuisine you will know he truly has a gift, the owner is nicole and he is a lively bubbly character and he is allways asking is everything is ok. pool was cleaned every day just a great setting .
We recently stayed at the Villa Fiorentina for the 6th time and fully recommend staying there. We had our usual spacious appartment with stunning views, our appartrment had a newly fitted on suite bathroom with a great shower aswell as the main bathroom. The best features of the hotel however are its excellent owner Nicola, the chef Natale and the very helpfull staff. The food is first class and freshly cooked with an excellent choice of dishes. The hotel has a nice pool which is very clean with plenty of sun loungers to enjoy the sun. The hotel is situated a 10 minute bus ride from the main town of Casamiciola and within easy reach of Lacco Ameno, Forio, Sant Angelo and Ischia Porto. If you are looking for a relaxed atmosphere away from the crowded towns of Ischia then this is the place. We can't wait for next year.

My wife, brother and I spent four days here at the end of September and start of October. Location, views, rooms were all excellent.
But the most memorable part of our stay was the fact that the owner Nicola made us feel at home, and helped us more than once in facilitating our outings on the island,
Then there was the food.
Before arriving, we decided that we would try a different restaurant for dinner every night. That was before we ate here. Natale is a gourmet cook who treated us to the best food we have ever tasted. We ate here every night. Made the food in the rest of the trip boring.
We would go back, and we would recommend the Villa to anyone going to Ischia.

My family and I recently went to Ischia and stayed at Hotel Villa Firoentina. The facility is layed out like more like a private residence than a hotel, and you really get that "at home family feel" when stating there. It's located a mile or so away form the main port up a steep hillside. The owner's name is Nicola and he is a wonderful host. Upon arrival we were greeted by Nicola and given a tour of the grounds. Nicola has lemons, parsley, basil, tomatoes, multiple types of lettuce, and many other vegetables growing in his expansive gardens. Your room comes complete with breakfast every morning and dinner each night, and every meal includes something fresh from Nicola's garden. His brother, Natale, is the chef and the man ought to be running a world class restaurant. The food is absolutely excellent and we never had the same meal twice. The rooms are cleaned daily, complete with beds made, towels replaced, etc. The rooms are modest but functional and fit in with the overall theme that Ischia provides. The Villa has a great swimming pool and plenty of room to lay in the sun. Nicola had a rental car delivered to the property for my parents and he drove my brother and I to town in his own vehicle to we could rent scooters. (I am 37 and my brother is 35, and we highly recommend having scooters to get around.) When we arrived to the rental office, I discovered I had left my driver's license back at the hotel, but since Nicola is like the Mayor of Ischia all it took was a wave of his hand and I was given the scooter without so much as providing the shop my name. No credit card, no deposit, no signatures. Just Nicola's word that he'd take care of getting the papers signed later. I can't say enough good things about our experience at Nicola's Villa Fiorentina (named after his grandmother) and I highly recommend you stay there on your next trip to Ischia!
