The mas is beautiful and authentic within the natural reserve. I enjoyed the bikes at disposal to discover the surroundings. The Chef cooked vegetarian for me and it was delicious.
Le cadre, le service
Qualunque cosa
La camera assegnatami con travi a vista a scendere era bella ma da fare attenzione alla crapa .
Absolutely breathtaking and magical place-it’s the most peaceful and special location, just unforgettable in every sense. Amazing familiar&personal service, just fantastic! food and the most wonderful pool in the world. We come back here since 20 years and find the place unchanged in a good way, as if time stands still. Rooms are very classic French, nostalgic in a truly romantic way. The place we will always return to💘
WHO finds something to complain is a complete idiot!
We stayed one night on our way back to the SW and very much look forward to our return. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Our room was nice and cozy with a large bathroom, the grounds are beautiful and the pool with drink and food service was a perfect place to recharge. I can imagine this Mas being even cozier in the winter months! Do bring mosquito repellent if staying in the summer. They weren’t a problem at the pool but around the grounds and the outdoor dining terrace it is a must. They also sell bottle in the lobby. Because our stay was only one night we did a driving tour of parts of Camargue which the concierge helped us map out. We look forward to returning to see and do more. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
Der Service gibt sich grosse Mühe, eine Atmosphäre entsteht dadurch aber nicht.
Ich will den Haushund nicht um meinen Esstisch streunen haben. Weder beim Nachtessen, noch beim Frühstück.
The property was good like in the pictures. With a nice homely feeling.
The restaurant was closed, no way to dine in the hotel. Hotel was totally understaffed, one person in all the hotel to do check ins check outs and show us to our rooms. That was on the sunday for our arrival. Nothing worked in the room, no TV, no secondary lighting, no curtesy waters normally expected in a luxury hotel. No turndown service either as understaffed. Shame for that.
Amazing setting, really customer service oriented team. Delicious dinner and truly French breakfast. The estate is breathtaking. Driving distance (less than 10 minutes) from La Chassagnette - an amazing Michelin star farm to table restaurant. In the heart of Camargue.
It was challenging to feel cool in the high ceiling bedrooms, despite the a/c unit running full power in the ultra hot days (40c/100F +). Luckily we were able to open the windows and get some breeze through at night, without worry about mosquitos or bugs thanks mosquito nets at the windows. Dont forget your mosquito and insect repellent for dinner/breakfast out in the patio.
Structure is nice.
The room had bathroom downstairs and shower and lavabo upstairs.
Additionally menu was fixed and immensely expensive.
The best thing was the Jeep tour of the farm, we loved it. We saw bulls, white horses, wildlife and learnt a lot about Camargue and its culture.
The breakfast and dinner were very good and service in the restaurant was good.
They charge 5* prices and it’s not! The room had several issues:
1. The safe didn’t work
2. There was no privacy in the bathroom.
3. The lighting in the bedroom was so dim , I couldn’t read or see what clothes I was putting on! There’s subdued and there’s dark!
All these I raised with reception & mostly got sorted eventually, but not before a rude young man had said “oh again” when I went again!
The bath/shower was v beautiful to look at but completely impractical.
It felt like no-one from the hotel had actually tried anything out and I wasn’t supposed to have high expectations!
Extraordinary venue with all amenities, still off the beaten path
Peaceful and quiet, lovely atmosphere, beautiful gardens.
the location and the property is overall beautiful
the restaurant wasn’t great, the
pillows and bed linens were terrible.
