Mooie locatie in rustig historisch stadje.
Pros:

Je komt met de auto aan bij de achterkant van het hotel. Lopend kom je op de mooie binnenplaats van het hotel en kun je er ook binnen gaan. Onderweg kom je nog 2 mooie ruimten tegen & de aankomstdesk. We konden op locatie nog het ontbijt voor de volgende ochtend erbij bestellen en besloten ook het diner er te nuttigen. We hebben rondom kunnen genieten van de historische binnenstad met veel oude huizen die veelal goed onderhouden zijn. Maandag bleek er rustdag te zijn, dus het meeste was helaas dicht. We hebben toch nog heerlijk genoten van de natuur, de sfeer, de rust en de vele informatie die her en der op de huizen te vinden is en na het diner hebben we nog in het stadje een heerlijk ijsje genuttigd bij een Clevers ijssalon met heel vriendelijk personeel. Onze kamer was klein, maar heerlijk rustig aan de achterkant gelegen en voorzien van alle nodige faciliteiten. De high tea die wij erbij konden reserveren (een gewonnen uitje via de Postcodeloterij) was lekker en goed verzorgd. Ook het ontbijt was uitgebreid en goed verzorgd. Ei, bacon en pannenkoekjes lagen bijvoorbeeld onder warmhoud koepeltjes en waren goed op temperatuur.

Cons:

Onze badkamerdeur sloot slecht tot eigenlijk niet. Verder was het voor ons onduidelijk in welke ruimte we nu wat behoorden te doen, omdat er meerdere ruimtes waren. Zo hebben we onze high tea in ruimte 1 genuttigd en toen we daar weer gingen zitten voor het diner, bleek het diner plaats te vinden in ruimte 2 (hier vind ook het ontbijt plaats). Soms moest je even wachten bij de aankomstdesk op personeel, daar het veelal 1 persoon betrof die alles bleek te moeten regelen die dag.
