A porta para abrir para o corredor que dava acesso aos quartos era fechada e muita das vezes tinha que descer as escadas para pedir para abrir!

Quiet, clean and handy

The 90s! Staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. Short walking distance to Rome Termini train stations and a lot of restaurants and shops nearby.

Basic, clean and well situated
Pros:

The hotel is close to Termini, an important train station. It's maybe not the nicest part of Rome, but it is very practical if you're going to take an early train or if you will be moving around using public transport.
The room was very clean, although a bit dark (the window looked onto an air hole). The decor was a bit old fashioned, which I didn't mind because everything was spotless and that matters more to me than a modern decor. The air conditioning and the fridge worked OK, I did not try the TV. The staff is very friendly, helpful and polite.

Cons:

They do not offer breakfast, which is a bit of a drag. There are a couple of affordable, very basic cafés nearby where you can have a very simple breakfast of coffee and a croissant, for instance.
The WiFi was not good, it did not work for more than 30 seconds in a row while I was there.
The hotel is situated starting on a first floor. This does feature in the hotel address provided by Booking, it's just that I didn't have enough Italian at the time to understand it. There is no elevator, so bear in mind that you will be carrying your luggage up the stairs at least one floor up (or more, if you don't get a room on the first floor but the second or third).

L’entrada i L’Escala molt brut, l’acces a la porta de l’habitació rompuda, descuidat, al terra brut, les parets també molt brutes i descuidade…Habitació molt petita per 3 que erem, només es podia moure 1, poc mobiliari per poder posar les coses de 3 persones, mobiliari molt vell, aferrat als llits per falta d espai …
