Hotel La Pergola

Probably one of the best hotel stays I’ve ever had.
The rooms were clean and full of character, and the rooftop restaurant served fresh, delicious food with incredible views.
The lemon groves gave the whole place a special charm. Even though the Amalfi Coast felt crowded and pricey, this hotel was a peaceful sanctuary with friendly staff, homely meals, and a calm, genuine atmosphere.

The overwhelming positive reviews are not exaggerating. This hotel was the best attraction on the Amalfi Coast for me.

The staff is really good, so is the view. The breakfast & staff. The rooms are tiny but thats amalfi. Very convenient to get bus too

We loved our hotel and private balcony that my wife and I had. The breakfast food was delicious and seeing the ocean while drinking coffee and eating was the perfect way to start the day. The staff was also very helpful with information on how to get around the area and fun things to do! We loved our stay here.

To far of a walk to downtown Amalfi . If they had a transport van it would have been perfect , great staff, friendly, I would stay there again

Excellent accommodations, friendly courteous and the meals were excellent. This was the first trip of many that we ate most of our dinners in the hotel where we stayed. Chef Daniel who is also the owner is an excellent chef, the food top shelf quality with garden grown ingredients and 5 star presentation.

I thought the two people who were working the front desk during our stay were some of the friendliest people I’ve ever met. They were so attentive and helpful throughout the entire stay. Our overall experience in Amalfi was great in large part due to this hotel.

What a wonderful experience! Everyone is super friendly and kind. My room was clean, breakfast was great, and dinner was outstanding! Special shoutout to Elia, Affonso and the 2 guys at the front desk. They were very professional, attentive, gracious and kind. From breakfast, to showing us how to get to neighbouring towns, places of interest and even halting a bus! We were so well looked after. Thank you for making our holiday so special and memorable!

Hotel La Pergola was extremely charming. The owners and staff are so friendly and helpful. The grounds are beautiful and the view from their dining terrace is incredible. Highly recommend!!

Loved it staff amazing food service

We must say this hotel was amazing. From the warm welcome to the delicious food, we were truly impressed. A special mention goes to the waiter Vincenzo for his smile and his skill in recommending excellent dishes!

Great, quaint hotel, 20 min walk to Amalfi town center, bus stop right in front of it. Extremely helpful staff. Beautiful, spacious rooms. Great restaurant on site. Had dinner there 3 times out of 5 days that we stayed, so so so good.
Highly recommend it.

It was a great base for exploring the coast. The staff are very friendly, plenty of dinner options if you don't get your fill of pasta or seafood during the day. Filling breakfast to get you going too. The walk to the port in Amalfi is mostly downhill, the bus back up stops right in front of the hotel.

Our stay in Amalfi was easy, fun, and unforgettable — and this hotel played a big part in that. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful across the board — from reception to housekeeping, to the kitchen and restaurant teams.

The reception team answered all our questions about transportation and local tips, and they even booked a boat tour of the Amalfi Coast for us, which we absolutely loved.

Every morning, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast on the beautiful patio. It was such a lovely setting to start the day, and our 10-month-old baby made so many new friends — the staff and other guests were so kind and welcoming.

We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Amalfi. It made our stay feel effortless and truly special.

My best friend and I stayed here for 6 days, and didn’t want to leave. It’s up above the Mediterranean with a beautiful view! The bus comes by about every 30 minutes and can take you into the main part of town within 10 minutes, or to other places along the Amalfi coast for a very small price. Breakfast is free with a variety of choices. Nightly dining is available on the rooftop terrace and the food is excellent. Private balconies, breathtaking views, and one can stroll through the lemon groves on the property. Excellent service, professional and friendly staff, very nice rooms with refrigerators and air conditioning. The beds are comfortable and the hotel is quiet, Just a beautifully maintained historical property. I give it 5 stars. We’ll be back.

Rather hard mattresses, bathroom sink blocked room 2, surprised to be charged €10 for parking. Breakfast was cold but manager helped with microwave.

A nice clean room with a great view, we enjoyed our time at the La Pergola. Breakfast was lovely with great fresh food and panoramic views. We really valued our time here and thank the staff for the attentiveness. A couple of downsides for us, we booked the cooking course however it was cancelled the night before so left us at a bit of a loss as we had planned our time around this. Also, not the hotels fault but once of the benefits of his hotel is that it's on a bus line, however the bus is not reliable at all and we walked up and down to the town every day, fine for us but the uphill walk is quite steep and around 30 mins so would be cautious if you're not up for this.
