Hardanger Hotel

Brilliant find this hotel. Staff were superb and extremely helpful with regards gluten free breakfast options for someone in our party. We had top floor room with view over the harbour.

Good location. Close to restaurants and shopping. Breakfast was nice.

A great hotel to use if your planning to hike Trolltunga

Located just across the road from the bus station it is perfect for anyone who is planning on hiking Trolltunga. The hotel itself was great and the staff were all friendly.

The single hotel room was the worst I've ever been to - but at least now I know how a prisoner must feel like. Extremely small, can't use the toilet without hitting your knees on the wall!

It’s very conveniently located nearby bus stops and restaurants. It’s a very old non fancy hotel that’s perfect for those interested in Trolltunga hike. The breakfast was amazing! The shower had good water pressure and even had a tub. The rooms and beds were shabby but clean and functional. No hair dryer. Free parking on site.

A very nice place to stay at. Its in the central area and is 3 mins walk from the bus station. Biggest surprise is that while free breakfast starts at 0630 and your leaving early for hikes, there are some food available after 0500. Would choose this place to stay at again if coming back.

Staff were exceptional. They provide quick and efficient services. However, transportation in and out of Odda is very limited. Two buses travel to Bergen each day. One at 0530 and another at 1700. This makes the town small and little less to do. Walk the river and hike up the local trails. Do this as a warm up for Troll Tongue.

The breakfast was plentiful and delicious with many options. We really enjoyed our stay.

I stayed for two nights in late July. Check in was super easy. It's across from the fjord and 3 minutes from the grocery and wine shops. It's a few steps to a bar and local restaurants. In other words, great location! It's a tad dated in the room but very comfortable. Breakfast was great. Very good coffee. Definitely recommend.

The bar across the street made A LOT of noise on both nights. You couldn't possibly sleep without earplugs on. I have my own earplugs, I hope the hotels have some for other guests just in case they need them. The view was great!

Room was pretty bare-bones but spacious to move around, very clean and fine for one night. Large outside balcony with nice views of the Fjord and quaint nautical Odda. Bathroom was big with limited shelving. Shower is in a big high-sided tub with only a half glass partition, and water got everywhere. No hair dryer in room that I could find, and realized this post-shower. Breakfast is in an airy vintage dining area that is a mash-up of decades with nice water views. No pastries to be found at buffet. Front Desk woman very friendly and confirmed where to park (free parking!). Good location for Folgefonna and also walking distance to local dining options.

Loved this hotel! It had a very nice staff and the breakfast in the morning was delicious! Plus it had great vegetarian options. And you can’t beat the views of the fjords. I would absolutely recommend staying here.

This hotel is BEAUTIFUL! So clean, comfortable and has everything you could ever hope for! The staff are amazing and accommodating and everything is set up perfectly for a great trip to Odda. Stayed here for a summer trip and I couldn’t recommend this place more! Thank you!
