Great location, clean room, very spacious, with great vintage details. We loved it.
Pros:

Exceptional location in the center of Parma. The location could not have been any better. We were right next to the Duomo, and next to the best restaurant in town for local cuisine.

Cons:

Nothing! It was great! All the staff was exceptionally friendly, they shared food, suggestions, as well as sightseeing. I highly recommend this property. The location is the best in the city.

Hotel am Dom Platz
Pros:

Sehr zentral gelegenes Hotel in einem wunderschlnen alten Palazzo direkt neben dem Baptisterium und Dom. Zimmer sind praktisch eingerichtet und gut ausgestattet. Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Vor Check-in und nach Check-out können die Koffern im Hotel gelagert werden. Würden wieder hier buchen.

Wonderful Stay in Parma!
Pros:

This was a great place to stay! Can't beat the location, right in the centre of town. Lovely room, clean and quiet. Wonderful efficient staff and check-in. One drawback is they don't offer breakfast (we recently were in Italy for a month and stayed at various places, and this was the only one that didn't offer breakfast).

Cons:

Just that it didn't offer breakfast.

Great location, spacious room but lacking a few small, helpful, things
Pros:

A super, central location overlooking the Baptistery within an almost car-free city centre. Our suite was spacious and had double double glazed windows. The bed was comfortable.

Cons:

The kitchen area was welcome but did lack utensils, especially a bread knife, and while there was a washing machine that worked fine, there was no clothes drying rack was a disappontment.

Historical location in the heart of Parma
Pros:

- Literally on Piazza del Duomo
- spacious rooms with historical furnishings (we had one on the inner side, less views but quiet)
- very friendly accommodating staff
- Litle shop at the reception
- possibility to park close by in a gated courtyard (Luggage drop off allowed in front of the hotel)

Excellent time!
Pros:

We LOved Parma! and the hotel was also in an excellent Location... we walked all around that beutiful town and had some incredible meals! we toured the Baptismal (right nest to the Hotel) I also had the great please of meeting Victorio the operator of the Hotel Prati. Mary Jo and I would love to come back to Parma again someday and would definitly stay at the Palazzo Dalla Rosa Prati.

This is a wonderful hotel!
Pros:

What a location! What a lovely hotel! My room was beautiful and spacious, and overlooked the Piazza del Duomo. The staff were friendly and welcoming and very helpful with information about restaurants and tours. I booked a tour through them of a local organic producer of Parmigiano reggiano. The tour was excellent and a true highlight of my trip.

Cons:

Breakfast is at a nearby restaurant rather than in the hotel. Because I had planned activities early on a couple of the mornings I stayed, it didn’t work for me. Instead I bought some fruit and yogurt and had a quick breakfast in my room. Also, I was awakened early one morning by what I later learned was street cleaning beneath my windows. Obviously that is beyond the control of the hotel, and my room was otherwise very peaceful.
