Golden Horn Hotel - Special Class

I really like the service, the hotel rooms are comfortable and have a good design, and the food is also very delicious, I really recommend this hotel if you want to vacation in Istanbul.

Wonderful experience. I came with my mom and grandma and each of us felt well cared for at this hotel. Special thanks to Seckin Kaya - excellent food manager who made us feel so very welcome every day of our stay. The meals were just beyond delicious. Room service was impeccable, front desk personnel were always helpful and available. Although you need to always triple check any information about the city attractions, schedules, transport etc - the staff may not always have the correct info for you.

This is an excellent hotel. The host, Mr. Seckin Kaya is always kind and helpful. It's our first time in Istanbul and our impressions are phenomenal, but all that comes from a hotel with good services. The food is varied and very tasty. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a secured parking lot right next to the hotel door, a guy who took out the things and took them to the room. The room is clean and very tidy, cleaned daily.
We chose this hotel with a friend, taking two hotel rooms. And the next time we come to Instabul, this will be our choice.

Overall experience was really good. The hotel was in a perfect location just a 5-10 minute walk from Hagia Sofia and the other sights. Really clean rooms, very nice breakfast and very polite stuff. Definitely coming again

The hotel was nice and very close to tram station and to tourists atractions. Personal was very kind and Mister Seckin made our perfect breakfast experience.

I highly recommend this hotel; it's truly regal with exceptional service. It's very well located, with everything nearby. The breakfast was excellent. Thank you to the entire team, thank you to Mr. Dogan who met all our needs, and thank you to Mr. Kaya and Mr. Hayreddin who provided us with a level of service worthy of a grand Turkish palace.

This is a great local hotel that was very central to the attractions that I wanted to see. The tram stop was close by, and ATM’s and plenty of restaurants. The staff were terrific. Sepkin at breakfast always looked after me, getting me Turkish coffee , scrambled eggs and offering to pack me breakfast if I needed it. Reception booked me some great tours and are looking after the Kindle I left behind. The room cleaner was also very helpful when I got lost and could not open my door.
Yes, my room was quite small and not brand new. I did hear some noise from other rooms and outside but it was not a concern to me.
Overall, whilst it is an older, small, character type hotel, I will stay again.

We stayed for 4 nights and our experience was wonderful. Different breakfast items every day. Room was nice too. I would stay here again.

I have wonderful experience in the Hotel. I particularly love the wondeful service of the Food and Beverage Manager Mr Seckin KAYA. His warmth and friendliness make my stay at the hotel most memorable.

I will sure to comeback to the stay at the hotel for that.

A perfect stay at the Golden Horn Hotel. The facilities are very comfortable, the location is excellent, and the atmosphere is truly pleasant. But what really made the difference was the exceptional service from Seckin Kaya, Food & Beverage Manager. He was an outstanding host—attentive, professional, and always willing to provide the best service. Thanks to him, our experience was even more special. Five well-deserved stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Lovely hotel . Clean well appointed rooms … a bit small and dated but quaint. Suited us for a 4 night stay in a great central position . Breakfast ok . Nice helpful staff especially Seckin Kaya. Beware of the food outlets outside at the back of the grand bazaar… we were royally ripped off £25 1 kebab and £8 for a can of beer. Always check prices before ordering. Lesson learnt!

The hotel is located very close to main attractions as well as metro station and tram station. Breakfast is very good. Staff was very helpful, especially Mr. Seckin Kaya, who personally presented us with authentic service of turkish coffee in the morning. All of the staff was very attentive with information about the city, luggage, parking, cleaning, etc. Everything was delightful. Absolutely recommend the place!

This is a great hotel in the heart of the historic old town. Our room was clean, quiet, and perfect for us. The housekeeping staff on the third floor- I didn't catch her name -was the kindest and so helpful when my husband wasn't feeling well. And the breakfast manager, Seckin Kaya and his staff were wonderful--so attentive and warm--providing excellent service even packing a breakfast box for our early a.m. flight. We felt right at home from the start and will definitely stay here again.

This hotel is located in the heart of old Istanbul. They have great breakfasts with the breakfast crew always on hand to ensure you have plenty to eat. The hotel has a groovy old world bcharm with lots of gold decorations to match the golden horn name. The owner is always on hand in the lobby to greet you and make sure everything you need is available.

This was a lovely friendly hotel in a great location.

Twin room was very small. Bathroom door didn’t close properly.

Hotel ıs located near all sıtıes. hotel staff and breakfast was brilliant but the hotel ı would not recommend no sound proof ın windows walls or door you can hear people from other rooms tvs etc hotel ıs dated not even a 1 star

Hi this is a one star hotel with a good breakfast. Don't be tempted to book. There is virtually zero noise reduction between rooms landing and floors.
The place is not very clean furniture is old and place needs some type of remodelling.
Just because it may feel good value ignore what other users have said.

Seems to be mainly used by group bookings which I assume are not chosing this hotel.
