Es casi imposible que no se oigan sonidos de la calle pero esto es un tema del French Quarter, no del hotel..

There is no fridge but ice is available from the machine near the room.

The sun hitting our room was pretty intense. Perhaps some sort of awning over the balcony area would make it more accessible by providing some shade?

I somehow missed that there was a fee for parking. I felt it was rather expensive at $45 for the night, in comparison to the room rate. Since this is an authentic old building, just be aware if you have mobility issues, the hallways are narrow and are interconnected with multiple flights of stairs. We arrived in a heavy down pour of rain. So with the locked parking being down the road a bit and juggling luggage up winding stair cases was tricky.

Pool has no towels around pool.
I know the hotel is very old and historic and it’s Louisiana but the smell of mildew is ridiculously strong. Deposit (incidental) is 110 for one nights stay, the website said said 75 and on the check in paper it’s states $55 then they tell you it’s $110 which kinda of made me upset bc i wasn’t expecting that, but it was released back to us very quickly. We paid extra for a king balcony room, the picture of the room showed a balcony over the street, however we got a courtyard balcony, I should’ve requested the street balcony i guess. Also, no smoking on the whole entire property is crazy. I do understand it’s a historic structure so the hotel doesn’t want any fire on their property but they should have a designated smoking area, I shouldn’t have to go to the street to smoke. They were insanely adamant about not smoking so if you want a balcony room to be able to smoke this isn’t the hotel for you.

The only thing I did not like about the property was the late check in time but that’s normal.
Also the pool bathroom could be bigger and cleaner.

They did not tell us about parking and we luckily found it across the street after driving around for 15 minutes trying to find a spot to park. We did not get there until midnight and the streets were packed with parked cars and homeless people sleeping on sidewalks. Great location and it is safe I would just suggest you get there earlier.

Die Gebühren für einen Parkplatz sind schon krass. Wir hatten eine Nacht einen Mietwagen und zahlten 50 Dollar für den Stellplatz

No mini refrigerator, room nightstands was very dusty. I had my own cleaning supplies to clean before getting comfortable. If room is by pool you can hear everything.
