Star Hotel Istanbul - Special Class

The place has a good location between Hagia Sofia and the blue mosque. What i really like is the roof top terrasse with the great view over the Marmar sea. It has no resaurant. I enjoyed the silence there in the mornings to do my yoga before i went to the city. The beds are comfortable, the fridge is great, and the bathroom is nice. Only missing a water boiler.

Ridiculous

The property was at an excellent location as close to most amenities and very near a lot of the historical attractions. Staff were lovely and helpful and hotel room was daily cleaned. Fresh towels were provided daily and staff were happy to assist with anything that you needed. However the hotel is on a busy street with the hustle bustle of trading restaurants and tourist entertainment. Therefore if you are a light sleeper then the hotels location is not suitable for you as the music from neighbouring restaurants etc would go on past midnight most days.

Very centrally located, lots of shops and dining right there. There was one locale that had loud music until late night, fun if you were there. I had to use ear plugs to sleep.

Baret was absolutely amazing and provided great service from the day we arrived to our departure. The location was absolutely great and near walking distance for a lot of tourist attraction and stores. Will definitely stay at this hotel again when I visit Istanbul. Thank you, Baret!

We have been going here for years and we were thinking about going somewhere else. However, we went there and it is amazing! New owners, renovations and excellent staff and I mean excellent!!! The hotel is situated in an entertainment precinct. We love it more than ever!!!

When I visited they didn't offer breakfast or airport shuttle. And I think it said otherwise when I was booking the room.

Excellent hotel. Very kind staff and clean rooms. The streets are a bit noisy because of the restaurants. The hotel is very peacefull. I highly recommend this hotel, you can walk to the Haga Sofia en Sultan Ahmet. Loved my stay here!!

The Star hotel is our go to when in Istanbul. The staff are always friendly and helpful. We are treated like family. Will always be our place in Istanbul

The hotel is very well located, extremely close to Sultanahmet square, in a very touristic district. Rooms and breakfast are ok. Wifi is sometimes difficult to get.

Didn’t feel comfortable,simply because I couldn’t sleep the first night. Kept scratching all night....the bed wasn’t clean!.
Had to cut my stay short and leave the place after terrible night,though I paid for two!.
I don’t recommend it,even for cheap price.
