19th Century Castle with view on Trier

The stunning view and quiet location. The combination of a turn of the century castle and renovation of the 70ies. The room itself was modernized though.

Prettig verblijf en supermooi uitzicht.
Pros:

Gastvrouw was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam! Het uitzicht over heel Trier is zeer mooi tijdens het zeer goed verzorgde ontbijt. Water, bier en wijn kun je uit de koelkast halen in de hal (bier en wijn voor een redelijke prijs, water gratis voor gasten). De weg naar het hotel is wat verder weg van Trier dan de andere hotels maar ligt op een zeer rustig gelegen plek. De weg er naartoe heeft geen verlichting maar dan kom je uiteindelijk bij een mooi kasteelachtig hotelletje. Er is gratis en ruime parkeergelegenheid vlak naast het hotel. Zeker de moeite waard om daar een keer te verblijven voor een simpele en aangename overnachting.

Cons:

Kleine badkamer maar voldoet wel. Er is geen mogelijkheid om s'avonds bij het hotel in de restaurant te dineren.
