We will come back if back in Madrid. A properly good hotel.
Pros:

Staff was very helpful, kind, proper sweethearts. We loved them all.
Location is fantastic if you want to be in the city center.
The room was super clean.
Internet connection stable.
Breakfast perfectly good enough.
Room was spacious.
Price is exactly where it should be so no feeling if being ripped off.

Cons:

Amenities could be somehow better:
- rather loud air conditioning but staff took care of it during the stay
- hair dryer not working but we didn't need it much
- tv set in a somehow weird position that makes it impossible to watch without repositioning
- breakfast could potentially have some more variety but still it was enough to feel satisfied

Madrid Hotel
Pros:

We liked the cleanliness of the room and the beds were comfortable. We had balconies overlooking the avenue. Location was good. We were able to walk to many sites.

Cons:

We did not realize our room overlooked a club that was open until 5am. It was very noisy and interrupted our sleep. Bathroom had a tub/shower combo with half a glass partition. It was difficult for my elderly mother to get in and out. Floor of bath was slippery. Water split out of the shower.
