After a cancelled trip to cordoba we had to find accommodation in Madrid. The Victoria hostel, accommodated us at the right price at short notice.
It’s a rabbit warren over 5 floors above shops and businesses. The twin room we had was very clean, the shower was very good and they provided small soap and shampoo.
The heating was welcome, Madrid is cold in January, also wet over our visit. The room was great for our two night stay, but would also be good for longer, the beds were comfortable.
The staff are very very helpful and friendly.

There are two beds that are together but one night I nearly roled in the middle of the two beds except that everything is amazing

You couldn't ask for a more convenient location. We were able to walk to most of what we wanted to see. The included breakfasts were ample. And we loved the outdoor restaurants just out the hotel door.

Excellent location nearby Prado museum, hop on hop off bus, plaza mayor and puerta del sol and shopping stores in the city, clean room and kind personel service.

Staying in this hotel is such a great location very welcoming staff able to checkin on arrival which was earlier than we should have. 2 lifts making rooms assessable breakfast was great good choices and plenty of tables. Our room was in the centre of the hotel so very quiet only noise was from other clients. One improvement could be towels they were very thin but overall a great experience thank you.

Great location next to restaurants, bars, shopping and walking distance to many attractions. Accommodations were clean and neat. Personnel at reception are very helpful

It was basic and had 4 twin beds to accommodate a family of 4. We pushed 2 together for the adults and trenagers didn’t have to share. Room was very small but it’s an older bldg, so didn’t expect much.

The hotel was in good condition, but the noise from the street was absolutely unbearable. Even with the windows closed, it was impossible to sleep all night. The lack of soundproofing is a serious issue that needs to be addressed. I would not stay here again.

Location was PERFECT. No doubt I'll be there again. Also, breakfast was complete and full of options.

A localização é sensacional! Bem próximo á Praça do Sol e á Praça Mayor! Café da manhã com poucas opções mas muito gostoso! Atendentes educados e simpáticos! Minha sugestão é não hospedar no no primeiro andar e nos quartos que estão voltados para rua, pois o barulho é sem fim!

Nice hotel right in the heart of Madrid. From the moment we arrived the front desk staff was excellent. They told us great places to eat, gave us a map of the city showing the location of of the major attractions, and arranged for a taxi to take us to the airport when we were ready to leave. This is a great location if you want to walk around the city and see the sights and hear the sounds. The room was comfortable and included all of the essentials.

The breakfast was amazing! The rooms could have been a bit bigger but the beds slept very comfortably. Great location in the hustle and bustle of the city but not overly loud.

This hotel has a great location, just off Puerta del Sol. Our room was comfortable. The bars on the street stay open late, so it could be noisy, but we didn't mind it at all.

The hotel is very basic, but it location is right in the centre of everything you need, bars, restaurants, shops, atmosphere.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We will come back again.

Very good locations in Central Madrid. We needed a triple room and not all hotels offered that. Helpful staff.

Room was clean. Nothing fancy, but easy access to cafes, monuments, and shopping.
