Staff was extremely helpful and made water taxi arrangements for us to go to rail station upon departure
Pros:

Our room 106 was lovely and had a very picturesque view of the canal from our two windows. It also had a large, private outdoor garden with sitting area.

Again, as above. Once free of our baggage, using a water taxi is a treat. Otherwise, the ferry stop is not too distant.
Pros:

This is a little gem. With secluded access and yet right on the Grand Canal, it would be hard to find a better place to stay in Venice. Elegant, quiet and with friendly and discrete staff. We could not have asked for more. Walking access is possible from Santa Lucia station, but only for the fit. For others like us, with some heavy baggage, a water taxi was the only suitable means of access. Highly recommended.

Cons:

As above - for some, access could be a bit difficult, but this should not be a deterrence.

The hotel atmosphere, location and staff at the hotel was superb!
Pros:

The room was well equipped with everything we needed, the staff was excellent answering all out questions and the breakfast was AMAZING! The best experience we had on our whole trip in Europe!! We'd definately return again :)

Everything was great at Ca’ Nigra. It was my husband’s birthday during our stay and as a gift the manager upgraded us to a nicer room with toiletries by Etro and complimentary prosecco. The property is beautiful. It is surrounded by gated gardens wth one overlooking the grand canal. The breakfast is lavish and can be had on the garden terrace. The hotel is immaculately clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful; especially, Marianna at the front desk.

Cons:

Der Schrank ist nur für Wochenendgäste, die Kleidung für 3Tage benötigen. 6 Bügel und 1 große Schublade in Bodennähe sind nicht ausreichend

-Einmalig in Venedig: süßer Palazzo mit wenigen wunderbar großen Zimmern, super-freundlichen Mitarbeitern und einem herrlich gepflegten Gartenbereich am Canal Grande
-Vom Busbahnhof"Piazzale Roma" über die Ponte di Papadopoli im kurzen 10minütigen Fußweg zum Hotel auch mit Koffer leicht zu bewältigen
-Anreise auch mit Boot über die hauseigene Bootsgarage möglich
-Sehr freundlicher Empfang
-Spitzen Lage für Anreise, Ausflüge nach Murano/Burano mit den Vaporettos(Wassertaxis) vorm Bahnhof Santa Lucia und natürlich das normale Sightseeing (Markusplatz, Rialtobrücke...)
-Trotz zentraler Lage ruhige Nächte
-großes Zimmer (Superior DZ, Zi: 103)mit Kanalblick zum Rio Marin und seitlich Canal Grande
-modern eingerichtetes und sauberes Bad mit Dusche, WC, Bidet und Spiegel überm Waschbecken
-Fön vorhanden, eigener Fön darf wegen Brandgefahr nicht benutzt werden
-großer Spiegel im Zimmer hinter einer Tür "versteckt"
-Minibarkühlschrank, Tresor, Klimaanlage vorhanden
-Aufgrund der gierigen Möwen empfiehlt es sich, den Hauptteil des Frühstücks im Innenbereich einzunehmen und zum Abschluss einen Kaffee und Obst/Kuchen im Garten am Canal Grande zu genießen
-selbst zur Frühstückshauptzeit war es nie überfüllt, sehr ruhige angenehme Atmosphäre mit aufmerksamem Service
-Frühstück absolut ausreichend, für jeden was dabei, Brot Semmeln Toast Wurst Käse Eier Rührei Bacon Antipasti Nutella Marmelade Joghurt frisches Obst versch.Kuchen Säfte Wasser Heißgetränke werden frisch zubereitet
