Location that’s it
Small box room at top of 5 flights of stairs paint pealing in bathroom carpet worn and stained not very clean
The staff were friendly upon check in, and the room was spacious. It all seemed quite outdated, but it served fine as a budget room for one night.
I can't really remember as some time has passed now, I think it was all fine. Maybe a little bit cold, but the fan heater helped.
I will never start there again.
84 steps to my room and plaster hanging off the wall.
Joke of a place.
TV not was working inter is power full all most very good
To much floors
Easy check in
Stairs steep and a lit of them
Very poor service
Their wifi and their service as well
Right in the heart of Cardiff
Bathroom and room smelled wierd, bit old but not very well taken care of.
The location is wonderful nearby everything abd landmarks. The bedroom was clean and comfy bed. The shower is quite good.
Its ok for a weekend stop but I wouldn't do it for a whole week. Its very good for being in the centre of Cardiff for everything you need eg: Bars, Clubs & Shops.
The heater in the room was not very good, the room No.6 was cold and would take overnight to make it decently warm. It smells of chlorine in the bathroom, it really needs a makeover to make it up tto scratch for today's standard. The carpets are worn on the stairs and are steep with no lift in the building. Internet was rubbish only getting 1.5 meg speed, tv was small...much improvement needed as I've had better stays elsewhere for the same price.
Really easy to check in, very friendly staff.
Have stayed before, will stay again
The staff were extremely accommodating, and assisted with all my required needs, despite the complications of my journey.
Will be booking with them again, and aim to be a simpler guest on my next visit!
Absolutely flawless!
Clean easy to access and friendly staff
Information regarding the stairs to be more apparent for customers who may struggle with access
location
Everything is very old, in urgent need of renovation, very dirty, smelly, bathroom with a window without a curtain, overlooking other buildings, shower with lukewarm water, very noisy at night.
The location, it was very handy having it on the strip
That it wasn’t clean, floor was soaking wet when we checked in, and when we went to tell them they didn’t care and just gave us towels when asked which we put on the floor and it came up yellow
Very convenient, got what I paid for
TV was a bit small
I have no serious complaints about this place in fact, I don’t know how anyone does. This is a classic “you get what you pay for” but honestly, this place is really not bad if anything, it’s good for its price! Bed was really comfortable and it was very clean in general. I was surprised to have some washing freebies in the bathroom lol shame I couldn’t use them :( very convenient place it’s very simple to check in and out. Very simple place it’s very private it was very quiet I couldn’t hear anyone but in all fairness I did visit on a Monday. I seriously have no complaints I don’t see why I wouldn’t come back here :)
-when I first came into my room I thought I was on fire it was extremely warm in the room :( I obviously turned off the radiators but it took quite a while for the room to cool down considering the only window I could open was the one in the bathroom. But I found it considerate that the staff turned it on before I checked in so I could be nice and warm so I appreciate that :)) it’s just too hot for my liking LOL
Good central location, cheap.
We were on the top floor, no lift, a very long trek up shabby stairs with worn carpet. Strong smell of strong cleaning products, in the room the paint was peeling off the walls, one of the glass panes in the window looked permanently fixed with a wooden board, there was a pest control device under the mattress suggesting a problem with bed bugs maybe? You basically get what you pay for.
