Wonderful location. We had a lovely room, very tastefully historically preserved. Most of the staff were very friendly & helpful. However.....

Cons:

Unfortunately at checkout we experienced a very impolite receptionist. There was no effort to ask how was our stay or to wish us a good morning or goodbye. Very disappointing as this was our last memory of an otherwise wonderful stay

Lovely hotel close to historic centre
Pros:

A lovely hotel in a beautiful old building close to the old town. Staff were very helpful and the breakfast very good. We stayed for four nights and slept very well. Thank you.

Lovely garden, and charming place. The staff was very helpful. Luigi, one of the receptionists was very knowledgeable about local wines.

Cons:

Our room, which we had not signed for, was inappropriate for us. The bedroom was upstairs from the bathroom. We asked to change rooms, which they were able to do. The room we were given was on the small side, with a very narrow bathroom. The plus side was the outdoor access to the terrace overlooking the garden.

Lovely location and fun staff
Pros:

We went to Marsala on a heritage trail - my great grandfather worked there and my grandfather was born there. We chose Carmine Hotel for its central location but also quiet rooms. We were super happy here, staff were incredibly helpful and fun, the breakfasts were plentiful and the coffee strong! Just sort out the parking in your head before you leave it overnight somewhere - yellow boxes NO, blue boxes No, white boxes or no boxes YES - but beware of street cleaning nights when you have to move the car away or risk being towed. Sort that out and there is lashings of free parking all around the hotel. Oh, we had a cat to entertain us every day!

Les chambres sont parfaites
