Extortionate stay at a dated and unwelcoming youth hostel.
Pros:

The property is very well located in the heart of San Marco district. It is also very clean throughout and warm.

Cons:

The property is marketed as a 4 star hotel, however it resembles an overpriced youth hostel: the rooms are very small and dated. The property hasn’t been updated in a long time with broken taps, old brown blankets for cover and mattresses so old that had deep valleys in the middle making it for an uncomfortable sleep. The walls are severely marked, broken door hinges and generally all furniture is very old. There is also a very strong mothball smell throughout the hotel.
Breakfast room is extremely small and managed by one single lady. Breakfast is very limited and basic and everything runs out by 9.00am ( allegedly opened until 10.30) so an early rise is a must if you want to be fed.
The reception staff are only interested in upselling restaurant bookings and questioned whether we were customers whilst sitting in the lobby waiting for a taxi (not booked through the hotel). We stayed 4 days and 3 nights. Staff were just interested in making more money rather than providing a service for the money already paid. Very unwelcoming and off putting.

Disappointing Room Allocation - Not as advertised
Pros:

We had long planned to stay at this hotel for sentimental reasons. We booked a long weekend and chose a Deluxe Double Room with a canal view.
We were allocated Room 307 on the top floor which bore no resemblance to the Deluxe room we had booked. We were assured by the reception team that it was definitely a deluxe room, and they were full so we could not be moved, so that was that. But the advertised room type we paid for was definitely not what we got. Our room was cold because the heating had been turned off remotely by reception. The room was very small with a very hard bed. The ‘canal view’ was only visible by leaning out of the window and looking vertically straight down all the four floors to see a tiny strip of water. There was no turn down service or guide books as advertised and although the room was clean it was very tired and in need of an upgrade. Feel rather disappointed and disillusioned.

Pros:

Hôtel agréable, bien situé, entre le Rialto et la Place Saint-Marc, chambre spacieuse donnant sur le canal. Bon petit-déjeuner avec vue sur le canal. Personnel très sympathique et attentif.

Cons:

Un détail : il manquait les pantoufles dans la chambre, alors qu'annoncées dans le descriptif de Booking.

Supera todas las expectativas en un sitio inmejorable
Pros:

Su situación, es inmejorable, está en el centro de todo lo importante en Venecia.
Cerca del puente Rialto y a 2 minutos andando de donde te deja las lanchas privadas.
El trato a la llegada, me ofrecieron un capuchino y agua, mientras terminaban la habitación.
Tener una mesa con vistas a uno de los canales, es una pasada.
La salida para la estación de Santa Lucía nos llevó sólo 2 minutos.

Cons:

El salón de desayunos podrían ampliarlo con el salón del bar, que prácticamente no se utiliza, pero bueno.
Y luego, no estaría mal que ampliaran un poco la oferta de productos, pero imagino que tiene relación con el espacio, no caben más mesas = no hay espacios para ofrecer más productos.

Pros:

Excelente custo-benefício, com ótima acomodação de quarto, atendimento de funcionários, café da manhã e localização, dentre outras características.

Cons:

Apenas o sinal do wi-fi não estava muito bom, mas é algo facilmente corrigível pela administração do Hotel.
