Everything to recommend, especially the warm and sincere hospitality
Pros:

From the moment this wonderful hotel find in Linguaglossa was booked, we were family guests as far as Luigi and his unique team were concerned. This is a boutique, cute and inviting establishment, a family business, oozing with warmth and charm. Our room was very comfortable, clean and roomy enough with a really nice and tree-enclosed terrace, enhanced by a Mt Etna view. The staff are exceptional, orientated to your perpetual comfort, safety and convenience. The breakfast is also fantastic, and the same service quality was present here and throughout our stay. Brilliant find and one of the highlights of this trip.

A relaxing and wonderful stay
Pros:

This is our third time at Il nido dell'etna. Every time we are surprised by something new in the hotel... I am gluten intolerant and this time they prepared a delicious cake with pistache for breakfast... but Valentina and Luigi are also very attentive about preparing really great food :))) don't miss the chance to visit this nice and really special place.

Awesome place!
Pros:

This hotel was the best place I stayed at in my 4 weeks traveling. The rooms are modern with a great bathroom that has really good water pressure and HOT water. The location for me was the main point being close to everything and parking not a problem. All the staff are awesome and nothing was a problem. I highly recommend Il Nido Dell Etna to anyone.

Quaint hotel, amazing staff, great breakfast
Pros:

This is the best hotel I stayed at during a recent long trip to Sicily. The owners were beyond friendly. The rooms were clean and the A/C and Wi-Fi worked well.

The owner met our group at 0215 in the lobby to make us coffee before we headed to work.

The lobby bar and restaurant served excellent homemade food and drinks.

Highly recommend!

Perfect hotel!!
Pros:

I can safely say this hotel has been one of the best I have had the pleasure to stay at. It may not be shown as 5 star, but the service seems to be that and much more. The staff was extremely caring and pleasant throughout the whole stay. Luigi and Carmen made us feel at home. I strongly recommend this hotel to anyone as it is worth visiting.

Very Nice Boutique Hotel
Pros:

We stayed several days at II Nido dell'Etna while touring Sicily. Service is impeccable. They speak very good English and are happy to give you directions and recommendations. The woman with the German accent (I’m sorry I’ve forgotten her name) made our stay wonderful. She is so kind and helpful. The hotel is a great location for a base while touring Sicily. Lots of great wineries in the area. The town of Linguaglossa is all within walking distance and the view of Mt. Etna is amazing. It was erupting the entire time we were there. The hotel has a small secluded garden patio that was wonderful to relax with friends and a bottle (or two) or wine. The next time we are in the area we will definitely stay again.

Great place to stay for touring and playing golf!
Pros:

Luigi and all his staff are most welcoming with nothing being too much trouble. Karmen behind the bar is charming. The room was spotless with wonderful views of Etna. Breakfast in the morning was most satisfying. Will definitely stay again.

Very cosy hotel for your Etna visit
Pros:

After a long days journey we came to this small hotel with the friendliest staff, impeccable nice rooms and later a lovely dinner. Modern and cosy at the same time.
Really a good start for your Mt. Etna Adventure and before you venture over to the Eastern side of the mountain. Two days allows you to explore the surroundings fxthem Castiglione di Sicilia.

Friendly, in a strategic location
Pros:

We stayed at this pretty hotel for four days.
We were delighted by the kindness and competence of the staff.
The room was comfortable and the breakfast was in a rich and tasty Sicilian style. The location is strategy for excursion to Etna, where you can have discounted rides on the top of the legendary Volcano.

Linger Longer at Linguaglossa
Pros:

We spent 5-nights at the Hotel Il Nido Dell’Etna as one of our two location holiday in Sicily.

Linguaglossa is not a tourist town, but it is a genuine Italian town, with real Italian folk and fabulous for all that! It is also one of the nearest towns to the Mt Etna national park, and probably the main reason why you would wish to stay at Linguaglossa.

The hotel building is 10-years old, and consequentially of a clean and reasonably modern design. Our room, and en suite, was clean and well proportioned. The hotel had excellent, but not free, WIFI.

The owner and his staff are all delightful (speak excellent English), and we really enjoyed our exchanges in conversation with these folk.

The hotel kitchen does a simple breakfast and a fixed three-course ‘traditional’ Italian dinner. We ate at the hotel on four of our six nights at Linguaglossa. Although there are several places to eat in town, we enjoyed the conviviality of our hotel very much and were happy to leave menu choice to the hotel kitchen.

If your holiday plans are to tour Sicily, you would find it hard to better Linguaglossa (and hotel Il Nido Dell’Etna) for that genuine Italian experience:)

A small hotel with a big heart
Pros:

This hotel is simple in style and design but impeccable. The rooms are small but completely adequate for a short visit. The family that runs this modern style hotel also serve a delicious dinner and yummy breakfast. They were also extremely helpful with recommending and scheduling activities.

A truly relaxing and pleasant holiday
Pros:

My family and I visited Il Nido dell'Etna last week and we were impressed with its high standard. We had a room with a view of Mt. Etna which was superb. The hotel is very modern, tastefully furnished and decorated with beautiful paintings throughout. It is also surrounded by a beautiful garden with a play area for children. It is very clean and the food is great! Most of all, the owner and all staff were very caring and helpful which made us feel so much at home. Its location is ideal for those who want to explore the Etna region. I highly recommend this hotel to all those who want to have a relaxing and pleasant break!

Solid choice for Etna
Pros:

My wife and I visited this hotel just as the Etna ski season was ending, and just before the Spring season was starting, and so we ended up as the only occupants of the hotel for a few days. Just to make a total nuisance of ourselves, we also had signed up for half board, which meant that the chef had to come in just to cook for us. (We didn’t realize that we were alone until a day or two had passed.) Not to worry. The owner warmly received us, gave us a choice of rooms (we had one w/ a view of Etna). Nice room and bathroom. We slept well. Dinner was good, and so was breakfast, both happily served, I might add.
The dining room is very nice, with lots of windows and open space. They have a pretty good selection of Etna wines, which are not always easy to find, even in Sicily. I have been to Etna north before, and there are not that many decent places to eat, and so I would recommend including dining with the room at this hotel. It is located on a pretty quiet street off the main drag, and so it is nowhere near as noisy as the main road, which is made of stone slabs that create lots of noise. (There also is a bar at the hotel btw.)
Parking out front is easy, free and well lit. This hotel is convenient to all of Etna north, east and west. Many people who come to this region are here for climbing, hiking, touring the mountain, etc. but we used this hotel as a base to see this part of Sicily by car. From the hotel, it was easy to make the climb (by car) to the top of Etna (a cool place to go). We also made it to Bronte and all the way down to Adrano on Etna West (go west on the main drag in Languaglossa, turn left at via Umberto, then a right onto strada Regionale Marenoeve – this route takes you west right along the side of Etna). We also took a drive through the Nebrodi mountains from the hotel: go west to Randazzo where you pick up SS116 north – we went all the way to Paso (practically at the north coast of Sicily). And, of course, we made the drive to Taormina, not only because of the famous greek/roman theater, but because it affords the best view of Etna from afar. These all are very nice drives.
Bottom line: Nice place to stay. Good rooms, good breakfast, and a nice dining experience. The price was very reasonable, and so, a good value. We had a good time here, and trust that you will do the same!

A pleasant stay
Pros:

I went at Nido dell'Etna with my family this summers and had a great time. The owners Luigi and Valentina rea very helpful and services are excellent. Good food and very clean rooms. The area is also quite interesting with good wineries and outstanding nature. Biking, hiking, horse riding, rafting, swimming in the sea, golf and during winter skying are only some of the activities that can be combined with wine tasting :) and great food

very nice
Pros:

This hotel is very well located to walk towards the top of the etna following the north path. the hotel is modern, well decorated for the common areas and the breakfast was great in the terrace. The service is very nice and wellcoming. the point to improve is the noise of the airconditioned in the room.

High 3* Standard and very attentive staff
Pros:

We stayed here for 5 nights during low season and were very happy with the hotel. Rooms are a very high standard for a 3* hotel, the Etna view extra is a good choice especially in case the volcano becomes active. The owner family who live in the same building and the staff are very friendly, attentive and helpful. The half-board menu was excellent and drinks etc. reasonably priced. There is a nice green garden with a playground very well suited for children. Also Linguaglossa, though very quiet itself, is a great base for discovering Etna, Taormina and other points of interest in the region.

Great place to stay in Linguaglossa!
Pros:

This hotel is great! Most of my guests and I stayed here for my wedding in May and I don't think we could have picked a better spot! Luigi and Valentina are so kind and accommodating and truly run an excellent establishment! They helped me with so many things before the big day, and my husband and I couldn't be more grateful! Everyone in our party agreed that the food was excellent and the rooms were really comfortable! I can't wait to stay here again!
