It was wonderful!
Pros:

Location is excellent! Short walk to the beach and all the shops, restaurants and pubs…even to a grocery store and drug stores. Staff was amazing, very pleasant, friendly and helpful. Grounds and pool area are beautiful. Although the decor in the rooms is a bit dated, the furniture was in great shape and the beds were very comfortable.
Will most definitely stay here again!

Cons:

We just wish there were more tv channels to watch at night. That is the only complaint but it won’t keep us from staying here again.

Thankfully, it was a one night stay. I did not like it at all. Will not return.
Pros:

The lady and gentleman at the front desk were friendly. Location was good.

Cons:

The property was very dated. Rooms were minimally furnished. Bathroom was very old and did not feel so clean. The floors and the bathroom door were warped. Bed was hard and uncomfortable.

Pros:

The location was great! Walking distance to many good restaurants, bars and shopping and the Beach! The family who runs this hotel was friendly and helpful, they go above and beyond. The landscaping is beautiful and well maintained. The pool area was nice. I felt safe. Other guests were friendly. They had laundry facility available which was helpful. The staff was great about letting us extend our stay when we couldn't fly out due to weather. The mini frige in the room was helpful.

Cons:

The rooms are worn. They could use updating. The beds were a bit firm for my liking.

Always a good value, clean and friendly staff. My first choice when staying near LBTS.
Pros:

Location is why we come here repeatedly. Proximity to LBTS is the goal. Pool is always clean, outdoor grill available, although we didn't use it on this visit. Rooms are kept clean, and kitchenette helps for keeping breakfast/lunch costs in line, (rarely have dinner in room). Staff always responsive to requests for towels, cleaning, etc.

Cons:

Rooms haven't been updated in a long time. Floor tiles in the bathrooms usually have cracks, and sealant around tubs and sinks need repair. Kitchenette didn't have many tools (like a spatula), so I bought one and left it. Not a big deal as I know they would have provided one if I said anything.

Why is Lauderdale by the sea so expensive?
Pros:

The Lacroix location was nice and it was nice to have a pool and the kitchen in the unit

Cons:

The room was very outdated. They need to get rid of the carpet. It wasn't super clean and the beds were very small.
