Amazing but different
Pros:

The staff were very kind. They were sweet, helpful. We did not find parking, and they allowed us to park inside of the garage. It was difficult to get the car down the ramp, and the person at the desk was very kind to offer to help and drive down reverse for us. The location was great as well. Beaytiful view, quiet and peaceful area. We had a really good view of full-on nature, and it was really pretty. This WILL be one of our memorable trips.

Cons:

Nothing really. A small thing, they did not provide water, and this Hotel is away from any groceries, so we had to buy here, or arrange it from different stores, some hotels provide.

מלון משפחתי מקסים ומשרה אוירה חמימה וביתית. מיקום על הגבעה עם נוף מדהים של אגם קומו והעיירות מסביב. בעלות המקום ובני המשפחה קיבלו אותנו מאוד יפה ונתנו יחס אישי לכל מי שהתארח במקום ודאגו לוודא שנרגיש נוח. החדר שלנו כלל מרפסת עם נוף לאגם והיה אמנם קטן אבל נוח והנוף והמרפסת היו שווים הכל. ארוחת הבוקר נהדרת ומוגשת גם במרפסת החיצונית של המלון מול הנוף הקסום. הצטערנו שלא הזמנו במקום יותר לילות ובהחלט נרצה לחזור למקום שוב ולשהות ארוכה יותר. מומלץ בחום

The wonderful family atmosphere of the hosts who were amazing and went the extra yards on any help needed regarding local attractions. Great pool and easy parking also breakfast and evening meal were very good.

Der Touristenboom am Comer See zeigt sich auch an diesem Hotel

Frühstück war überwiegend gut (gute Wurst, guter Schinken, guter Käse, gute Croissants).
Tolle Lage mit gutem Ausblick.

Cons:

Das Personal bzw. die Wirtin oder Wirtinnen war zu bemüht. Sie erklärten alles, als seien wir kleine Kinder.
Das Zimmer stank sehr nach Chlor, wir mussten ersteinmal lüften. Es gab im Zimmer nichteinmal ein kostenloses Wasser. Wir beeilten uns, da in Booking steht, Check-in nur bis 20 Uhr. Vor Ort stellten wir dann fest, dass Check-in bis 22 Uhr geht. Ärgerlich.
Leider kein "richtiges" Doppelbett mit einer Matratze sondern zwei nebeneinandergelegte Matratzen.
Der Preis von 220 Euro ist für diesen niedrigen Standard inakzeptabel. Man sieht im Zimmer auch Investitionsstau (vieles ist abgenutzt).
Beim Frühstück gibt es keinen richtigen Saft, sondern Nektar mit ca. 25 Prozent Fruchtsaftgehalt. Es wird also auch noch bei der Produktqualität gespart.
Die Kühlfunktion der Klimaanlage war ausgeschaltet.
PS: Reaktion auf die Antwort der Betreiber: Die Fenster waren natürlich geschlossen, wir sind nicht blöd. Die Klimaanlage lüftete auch, jedoch war die Kühlfunktion ausgeschaltet.
Die Rezeptionsöffnungszeiten sind -- so ein Schildchen steht bei Ihnen an der Rezeption -- bis 22 Uhr. Warum man dann nur bis 20 Uhr einchecken kann, ist nicht nachvollziehbar.
Leider äußern Sie sich nicht zu den anderen Kritikpunkten.

Pros:

So many things that we liked (no loved!) about La Perla … it’s difficult to know where to start?!!
The staff were just amazing - all of them. So friendly, happy, accommodating and genuinely welcoming.
The location of the hotel and the magnificent views. An oasis of calm on Lake Como but so easily accessible to all of the major villages and villas.
The delicious evening meals and ample breakfasts.
The convenient parking.

Cons:

The pillows were the only disappointment but I’m very conscious that that is our personal taste!
