Perfect location, near good transport links. Rooms were spacious with lovely bathrooms. Towels and cleaning everyday was very much appreciated.
The restaurant near reception is one of the cheapest and everything is very tasty with good variety every day.
The gym is everything you possibly need when on holiday with all new equipment with some amazing view early morning.
Well done!!!
Will visit again if visiting this area
The hotel also offer airport taxi service FOC which gives you peace of mind.
We have spent the last 3yrs around Christmas time and this was the best experience. We were in room 307 in the annexe superb had everything for a complete comfortable stay which includes the beds and upgraded bathroom all the staff without exception were helpful and friendly the staff who worked in restaurant and bar very hardworking Thank you
Just stayed here for 3 nights and it was perfect. Our 4th time staying here and always great. Room was clean and had a lovely sea view. Staff are really pleasant and helpful. Great bar and restaurant. Only had breakfast which was great. So much choice and nicely presented. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby. Will definitely stay again.
Great location on the seafront near to the lift up into the town.
The rooms were large and well equipped apart from not having a kettle. I boiled water in pan for a cup of coffee.
Spacious bathroom and lovely balcony. Comfortable bed, towels changed daily.
Only downside was the paper thin walls and lots of noise from corridors ie door slamming and loud voices.
I love Hotel Apartamentos Bajondillo. I have been twice and recommended by son and his partner to stay her over the summer too which they did. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Ricardo & Roberto on Reception are brilliant. The apartments are so lovely with lovely views. The bed is soo comfy and the shower is so strong, just what you would need.
Location is brilliant, right on the beach and prom and just around the corner from the steps or lift up to Torremolinos town
Lovely hotel.very clean food good also price.Near all amenities .
No kettle but used a saucepan to boil water.
No toaster but used the frying pan buttered on one side..So all good..Looking forward to going there again
We stayed here for a week in October and really enjoyed it.
Yes a kettle and a toaster would be lovely to have in apt , but after reading reviews I knew to bring a kettle with me.
Beds were comfortable and we had a side view of the sea which was lovely to sit and look at.
A supermarket is a few mins walk from back gate of hotel , this walk past supermarket takes you up to the lift as well which costs 50 c. You can walk, but a lot of steps , we always took lift up and walked down. The lift takes you to the upper part of town which has loads shops and restaurants and bus depot is also in upper part.
We ate a few times in hotel and its very reasonable and the best meal i had was the 3 course special, the menu changes daily.
A few pictures on walls and a small table between black chairs for your tea would be handy and a fan for the bathroom .Instead of one locker 2 would be better as one each side of beds .Yes also agree with others maybe an off peak time for sunbeds to be free ,chairs are available for free but umbrellas are for sunbeds only I was told
Loved our stay here and will be back.
Love this hotel. So comfortable and friendly. Been coming every year for the past 11 years.. the only thing that is missing is a coffee machine that guests can use when they come down to reception where the restaurant is based by reception because it doesn’t open till 10/11am and also the coffee/hot drinks machine is switched off normally before 10pm in the bar so when you come back you can’t get a hot drink unless you go back to your room. Other than that I love it
We had a fantastic stay! The view from our 9th-floor studio was absolutely amazing. The only minor downsides were the €4 per person daily charge for sunbeds, the absence of a kettle in the studio, and a limited number of plug sockets. Aside from that, everything was excellent — we couldn’t fault the place.
For some reason we had no air con - so we left the sliding door open for air - no sleep with comings and goings - plus staff are lovely - beautiful resort - cushions by the pool on loungers for €4 but don’t leave them for even a minute they will clear them away - nice resort - ideal location - beach across the road for miles - shops either side and close to La Cariheula - 10 mins from the airport - we travelled into Malaga port and went for a cruise
We stayed here a few years back, well it has detoriated since then. The rooms are so basic, no pictures on walls. There was a nail in 1 wall. The floors look so dirty, they are not dirty as such but so old and marked. Carpets look awful in the corridor. People keep requesting kettles, why can't the owners listen to people. There is no clothes line either, saw people with bits of rope. Also we found the staff unfriendly, even when we were checking out I was dealing with a manager, never asked how was our stay. As for the pool area, it's completely filthy, all mud around it where there is no grass. Never saw anyone cleaning it or checking temperature. Sunbeds filthy and I would hate to look closely at the mattresses. Only ok think about this hotel is the entertainment nights. Its so dated it needs to be updated.
I booked a studio based on TA reviews and I was delighted with my choice. On arrival we were greeted by a very friendly gentleman at reception who allowed me to practice my Spanish and we were allowed to have access to the room at 1.30. The studio was quite spacious with a large balcony and a fantastic sea view. The bed was very comfortable. There was a large wardrobe space. The room had a safe but there was a payment for using it. The room was very quiet with no external noise. There was a large fridge and an electric hob. Cups, plates, cutlery etc were provided. I was surprised that no electric kettle or ironing facilities were provided. The location was excellent. The beach was just across the road. It was less than a 10 minute walk to the centro and the lift to the centro was just around the corner. There were 2 small supermarkets close by. The hotel provided entertainment in the bar each night and there were plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance. Overall I would highly recommend the Apartamentos Bajandillo.
Great location clean but very basic ideal as a cheap base only not much choice of bars and if you sit outside in the largest seating area unfortunately surrounded by smokers
Fairly clean rooms, staff is not speaking a good level of English but they are helpful .Beach is well maintained, good view.
Quite safe and very clean on the hotel premises.
Overall, an okay place to go.
I visited for the second time in 8 weeks...
This time I rented 2 studios.
I was still put in the same area I had been dis-satisfied with in July. Only difference being a higher floor...
Same shaded balconies (only sunshine early Morning) and same echo/volume from a narrow gap between two tower blocks so no privacy at all from all the near occupants opposite. The Gap is in a V shape so the higher number studios eg 10-21 get closer and closer whereas 1-10 dont seem as close
No beach view
The housekeeping staff and the reception desk as well as the morning brunch staff are fabulous! Amazing people. The only issue we had was that the shuttle bus did not pick us up at the airport again (same issue last year),we booked it, we notified the hotel about flight time change and still no pick up, so once again we taxi’ed from airport to Bojondillo!
Excellent location
Big apartment with very basic amenities for self catering, no kettle no toaster no oven or microwave but did have a four ring hob, fridge and sink with utensils plates.
Soap dispenser in bathtub for shower and hand washing and didn’t get refilled.
Balcony didn’t get cleaned or swept during our stay. You also have to hire a key for the safe.
Apartment location is good, close to shops bars restaurants etc.
The hotel was a little better than OK. The front was hard to get answers from. There was no guide to what was when and eat ways to access the beach etc. I don’t speak Spanish, so a lot of my discomfort was my own fault for speaking the language.
