First of all ,i wanna share my personal experience check in this hotel during this 3days ,Day 1 ,when we check in the room ,within 1hours ,someone open our door without any knocking ,just use key open our door ,we don't pay attention for it ,but this immidately not really nice ( they use their own key ) ,Day 2 ,becuase of the jetlet ,we sleep until 10am in the morning ,our door be open again by their own key which is we are not dress up yet ,still in the bed ,and at night time ,we wanna borrow the fork inside the room ,we being inform need to pay for it ( it's not we cannot afford it ,this should be hotel inculding service ) ,the receiphtion never smile when we check in ,i don't know what happen ,also we need pay extra car parking ,all good ,no problem ,but both of us very disappointed by here the service ,i will suggest checking other hotel first if you have option for it

Very nice hotel and reasonably priced in a great location with the Maashaven Metro station directly opposite. I have visited Art hotel on business many times over the past few years as my company has an office in Hoogvilet and this is a very convenient hotel for the city centre.
However today I had an experience that I was not expecting and didn't appreciate. When I came to check out the reception desk lady said there are some restaurant charges to your room of Euro 24. I said, "but I did not use the restaurant, I went out for dinner with colleagues last night and did not take breakfast this morning". She then spoke to the restaurant manager who came over and accused me directly of drinking 4 of the strong Dutch beers in the restaurant the previous evening which I never drink, I don't even know the name. I said that I did have 1 beer at the bar and showed her the receipt for Euro 7.50 for a Hertog beer that I paid at 22:19pm. She said but that's just a proforma, you have to pay the total when you leave. I said, and I did and showed her the credit card transaction for Euro 7.50 that I paid.
She then said, well then I have to call the Police and said she was going away to check the CCTV evidence which I was pleased she was going to do, but she never did and just walked back to the restaurant to make this whole scenario my problem. I guess that's the pressure tactic to force me to accept a charge for something I never had.
After a few minutes I told the very nice reception lady that I had to leave and needed a copy of my final invoice including the city tax for my company expense records. She went back to talk to the stupid restaurant manager and eventually returned and said, it's ok you can go. I asked for a copy of the invoice which she provided.
I did say that in all my business travels over the past 45 years I have never been accused of failing to settle a charge to my account and why would I as this was a business trip and fully paid for by my company!
I think she felt a bit embarrassed about the whole situation and I made the point that if they were going to allow guest to charge drinks to their room they should make them sign and add their room number as is common practice in any hotel in the US and most of Europe as well. To rely on trust that people provide a random room number that someone else is staying in is pure stupidity.
Anyway, the restaurant manager was extremely rude and arrogant. If she worked for me I would fire her immediately.
Watch out for this if you stay at Art Hotel! It's never happened to me before but it seems they need to change their system and stop accusing honest guests of being dis honest!
The room is okay average clean understand not too friendly so my rating overall it's just okay
Really enjoyed my stay and would come back again.
The Art Hotel is lovely and modern, centrally located with a Metro
Station right outside. The food in the restaurant was excellent.

Interior Design
The views are excellent and the location very convenient fir public transport. Small issue with a damaged table in our room that was quickly fixed. While there is a a catch to hold the window it was noisy as both were loose.
After checking in I went to the room and upon first glance it looked tidy, however later on in the night before I was about to sleep,I noticed that the bedding had not been changed as one of the pillow,the spread and the duvet cover had stains.
The following morning this was reported to the duty manager,and I got some clean bedding which I told her I would change myself once back at the hotel.
Before I departed that day I gave specific orders that no One should go inside the room unless it was an extreme emergency, however upon returning,not only had house keeping been in,but the dirty bedding was put back onto the bed.
Again ,I went to speak to the duty manager and was told she was off,and would not be in the next day,as it was her day off.
I will say whilst the hotel is in a convenient location next to a metro and tram stop,the experience left myself feeling like they did not really care about these important things associated with a guest's expectation when staying at a hotel.
Apart from the initial first communication with the duty manager,no apologies were made and the staff didn't seem too bothered either about the situation reported.
Enjoyed our stay at the Art Hotel. Friendly staff, clean room, comfortable beds and nice restaurant.
Noce rooms
On day one staff knocked on our door 3 different times despite the do not disturb sign on our door to ask if our room needed cleaning and all 3 times we said NO. The 4th time we still said no and they came in to clean anyways while I was laying on the bed in my underwear. The walls are paper thin and you hear everything. The room sounds like it’s going to shake apart whenever someone walks in the hall or closes their door. Stay anywhere else if you want sleep
