You can park your car in nearby carpark and walk to all facilities in the town. Room was spotless clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and staff were professional and lovely people.
Car park is beside hotel but can be difficult to get a space. Also payment is through a Co Co ticket machine which you need coins for.
Location was central, the bed comfortable, staff very helpful
Bathroom/shower is dated, constant noise from a fan or machine outside the room window. Air-conditioning only heats up the room, room was 25 degrees for our stay, had to have window open permanently.
Empty water container in your room for you to take to the bar.

This was our second time at this hotel .
We find the staff very welcoming and helpful ,ready to assist with any small problem that might arise .
We also like the restaurant ,and find the staff there are also very pleasant and the food and service are both good .
The staff was overly-accomodating and friendly. The breakfasts were fresh and hot and served quickly. The location is very central and parking was easy. Comfy bed.
Unfortunately we stayed during the heat wave so, although the windows opened, it was very hot and stuffy in the room. And being in the town, one night we had loud alterations outside at 3am. Nothing the hotel can do about that.
We were on a Rabbies Tour and we requested a handicapped room with wheelchair accessible in the hotel this property did exceed our expectations! No issues whatsoever… we asked about stopping the rain but that was beyond their control 😁
First impressions count - and what a friendly, cheerful welcome we got at the front desk where we were checked in by Peg. This set the bar high for our interactions with staff and it was well and truly met. All staff were genuinely friendly and interested. Ten out of ten for recruitment and training - it really shows.
As breakfast was really good we decided to have dinner in the hotel and that was a great decision. A well thought out menu excellently executed by the chef (who we leaned is with the hotel 20 years - now that speaks for itself!)
There were nice seating areas in and around the lobby and very interesting, and sometimes quirky, artwork throughout.
The rooms were very nicely done out and it was a treat to have more than adequate storage.
I would readily recommend this hotel and hope they continue with the super model they have in place.

Bed extremely comfortable, staff couldn’t do enough for us. Location - right in the centre of town and parking beside the hotel for 3 Euro for 24 hours

Had such a lovely stay at the Clew Bay Hotel. Good size rooms, great breakfast and perfect location. All staff are so kind and helpful also. Looking forward to returning for a weekend in Westport again!
