Cons:

The prestige room we had did not match the picture on the booking.com website which had a full length window. We had a room on the second floor and had to stand to look out the window.

sollte man auf einer reise durch frankreich sein, ist dieses haus sicher eine wunderbare raststation.

ein sehr schön renoviertes haus mit sehr schön angelegtem innenhof und wunderbarer ländlicher umgebung. bei dekoration und ausstattung der innenräume hat man sicher nicht gespart aber im detail könnte es geschmackvoller und auch funktioneller sein.
grossartig ist die tierfreundlichkeit aller. vierbeiner sind hier mehr als willkommen und finden im schlosspark auslauf.
die schlossküche kam unseren vegetarischen wünschen entgegen. unser à la carte diner war sehr gut.

Das Schlossambiente war sehr schön.

Cons:

Für ein Hotel dieser Kategorie recht kleines Bad. Es gab eine Badewanne, keine Dusche, für den Duschkopf gab es auch keine Wandaufhängung, dass man hätte im Stehen duschen können.
Die Heizung war sehr laut, als wir ankamen, war es in den Räumen sehr kühl, insbesondere im Bad, hier war es aber nicht einfach möglich, den Heizkörper anzustellen. Das Hotel ist schwerpunktmäßig auf gutes Wetter ausgerichtet. Es gibt wenig Möglichkeiten, bei schlechtem Wetter im Hotel aktiv zu werden.
Es gibt keine Informationen auf dem Zimmer zum Hotel, seiner Geschichte, des Dorfes oder des Umlandes.
Auf die Anfrage bei der Rezeption einen kleinen einstündigen Spaziergang zu machen wurden wir an den etwa 1,5 km entfernten Kanal geschickt, obwohl es oberhalb des Schlosses durchaus schöne Spazierwege gibt, eine kleine Karte oder Ähnliches gab es nicht.
Hervorzuheben ist das wirklich empfehlenswerte Abendessen. Beim Frühstück gab es allerdings aufgebackene kleine glutenfreie Brötchen erst auf Anfrage, obwohl dies zuvor angemeldet war. Leider waren die Brötchen auch noch in der Mitte nicht richtig aufgetaut. Da hätte man bei dieser Kategorie mehr erwartet.
