Good location with great furnishings and very nice building. Very convenient for Didsbury and local green spaces. Very nice staff. We had a free upgrade to a more spacious room on a lower floor because of the heat which was welcome.

Beautifully decorated, luxurious room. Very comfortable bed. Lovely coffee and tea making facilities. Powerful shower.
Gorgeous outdoor terrace.
Great location: 10 min walk to Didsbury village; 10 min walk to metro stops and buses just outside.

Excellent stay at hotel in great location with terrific staff

After a very horrible day at Manchester airport with easyJet cancelling our flight and entire holiday I can’t recommend this hotel enough.

EasyJet booked it for us and it is superb. The bed is the comfiest we have ever slept in. The breakfast was beautiful and the poached eggs were perfect. The court yard was also a lovely space to relax in.

I highly recommend this hotel and the staff were lovely and accommodating.

A real gem. Faltless. Quiet leafy location, comfortable room, helpful staff, immaculate, everything of the highest standard with lovely sitting room and great food both at dinner and breakfast all for a very reasonable price given the standard.

Such a beautiful, independent hotel, tucked away on the edges of the hustle and bustle of Manchester. We had an excellent night's sleep, the bed was extremely comfortable. The peace and quiet of the location made the 1 night stay so relaxing and replenishing, even though we were there for business, it did feel like a mini holiday! Our freshly cooked breakfast we great and came very quickly, served in a lovely breakfast room with a warm ambience. In fact the whole hotel is beautifully decorated and charming. The staff were very attentive and in all honesty there's nothing to fault about it, a great find. We'll definitely be staying again when we are next in Manchester and recommending to our colleagues and friends.

Thursday 2nd July 2026: We spent the night at this gorgeous small hotel, and had an excellent dinner there too, and an equally excellent breakfast before leaving on Friday 3rd July. It describes itself as a "luxury victorian villa", and for once such self publicity is entirely accurate. It is such a cosy hotel. We had room 21 which was furnished beautifully. High end Bramley products in the bathroom. This was our third stay here since early May 2026, and it has been consistently excellent. Highly recommended.

The location is perfect for nothing and very convenient for almost anything. The hotel has a very cozy feeling to it. We tend to avoid the smallest rooms even though they are more affordable, as they are on the small side. The larger rooms are very generously sized. The bar, which is open 24 h, is not a cocktail bar but is great for wine and basic drinks. The breakfast is very good. We have stayed at this hotel many times and have never been disappointed.
