The restaurant is closed on our rest day (Wednesday and Thursday). In this case, you can easily check in with us yourself. ما شاء الله كان مكان جميل جداً وفيه بطاقة أبنزل تدخلك أكثر من مكان مجاناً وكذلك تركب القطار بها وبالنسبة للغرفة كانت غرفة 9 في الدور الأول جميلة والمنظر خيال شكرً فروهي🌹

Excellent base from which to explore the best of Appenzell
Pros:

The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. The location is very good: steps away from the train station, within walking distance to Seealpsee and to the cable car to Ebenalp. Breakfast was very good.
Checking in when the hotel is on its days off is absolutely no problem: you receive a code per email which you use to open the hotel door and then to open the box containing your key.
Replies to phone calls and email messages was always prompt, hepful and friendly.

One of the best views I have had during the holidays
Pros:

Beautiful sunny terrase with amazing view. Super friendly and helpful host. The room was warm before our arrival, which was very nice in the beginning of April.

Cons:

Pillow was a bit too high as for me
