Not what I expected.
Cons:

That on checking in I was told I needed I D for my daughter! I had I D for myself but did not know this was a requirement. This delayed check in and it was late in the evening so we were tired! Then I’m getting to the room. Tv took a while to work no remote. Bathroom hot tap spat at me. Cold tap dribbled. Shower didn’t work! Room dreary and whole feel of hotel was not nice. However, on expressing this to guy on reception next morning he was very polite and took it on board. Won’t stay again.

Never again!
Pros:

I did not like the property

Cons:

We had a ground floor room shush was next to a communal area with loud guests that were up all night. Staff didn’t seem to intervene and I left my room to ask them to quieten down as another guest from an upper room was coming down the stairs to ask for them to quieten down. Shower in room was leaking from the hose. The internal lock was broken. There were holes in the wall in the bathroom and the shower tray was very dirty, the whole room looked shabby and most of it would be a cheap fix. There was so shower gel. The only toiletries was a small bottle of shampoo. There wasn’t any hand towels. All in all probably the worst night I’ve spent in a hotel. We had to pay a cash deposit of £10 which isn’t a lot of money, however I don’t know why this was needed and who carrries cash?

Worst experience ever. Will avoid this hotel in future.
Pros:

It’s cheap

Cons:

At least 10 people came back to the room opposite our room off their faces on drugs. Shouting banging drinking laughing out loud around 3am till 7.30 am. Confronting some of them on 2 separate occasions pleading to be quiet but got told to go back to my room and crawl under the stone I came from if I didn’t want a good kicking. The guy on reception downstairs allowed this behaviour to carry on and turned a blind eye. It was the worst most frightening experience I have ever had.
I will tell potential customers of this hotel to avoid it like the plague.

At the price not bad but I was disappointed the kettle didn’t get swapped as I reported this within
Pros:

The room was clean

Cons:

The kettle didn’t work, I reported this to reception but they didn’t replace it. No heating and the cistern was slow dripping all the time. Also the shower wouldn’t get hot.
