Dear MEININGER Hotels Team,
My name is Eva Louis. I am writing to complain about my daughter’s stay at MEININGER Hotel Berlin Alexanderplatz (Schönhauser Allee 19, 10435 Berlin) from 20.06.2026 (arrival) to 23.06.2026 (departure).
I had booked and paid for a six‑bedroom private room for my daughter and four friends. On arrival they found the fan in their assigned room was not working and the room was extremely hot. When they reported this and asked to be moved, staff asked, “Don’t you have a fan?” and no immediate solution was offered. The guests were forced to check out and check back in to another room. After moving all their belongings they discovered the new room was only a four‑bedroom, despite my paid booking for six beds. They had to move again and repeat check‑out/check‑in. This caused significant inconvenience, stress, and discomfort to five young guests.
I request a full refund for the booking due to the failure to provide the paid six‑bedroom accommodation and the double room moves caused by your staff’s handling of the situation. I can provide the booking confirmation and photos on request.

Die Lage.

Cons:

Die Ausstattung war dem Preis nicht angemessen, die Temperatur war im Zimmer höher als draußen, diverse Abnutzungserscheinungen (abblätternde Wandfarbe, abgeplatze Lacke in Bad und an Heizkörpern) haben das Zimmer schmuddelig aussehen lassen. Gesamteindruck war eher Jugendherberge als Hotel. Das gilt auch fürs Frühstück.

La atención del personal fue GENIAL. Me hicieron sentir super cómoda y me ayudaron cuando tuve un inconveniente. La habitación muy cómoda (baño genial y cama para dormir un millon de horas) y la cocina también muy buena.

Cons:

Nada en particular. Quizás compañeros de cuarto que se dormían muy temprano jajajaja pero eso no tiene nada que ver con el hotel
