This is is 5*+ resort in the most magical plan. Family owned and taken care of to perfection. Five star chef and service. Impeccably clean. Traveled Europe a lot and this is my favorite place so far!!!! Outstanding spa

I can’t say enough good things about Aspen Alpin Lifestyle Hotel. Any negative reviews must be from competitors or people who booked beyond their budget because this hotel is nothing short of incredible. While it’s rated as a four-star hotel, it could easily be considered five stars based on the level of service, quality, and experience they provide.
From the moment I arrived, it was clear that both the owners and staff take immense pride in their work. Their hospitality was unmatched. My flight was delayed due to a plane crash at Toronto airport, and without me even asking, they adjusted my reservation by a day to accommodate the delay—truly above and beyond service.
The food is absolutely spectacular, the spa is amazing, and the views? Breathtaking. The rooms are luxurious, with massive 700 sq. ft. suites overlooking the Alps—pure perfection. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful escape from city life or a first-class experience in the mountains, this is the place to be.
I’m appalled by any criticism of the owners. They are some of the most welcoming and accommodating people I’ve ever met in the hospitality industry. Thank you for an unforgettable stay—I’ll be returning yearly!

Loved the stay with excellent views of the mountains, spa as well as a great breakfast spread and vegetarian options for dinner. Wish we had the option of using the microwave in the deluxe suite we were in, but otherwise the experience was fantastic. They also offer free pick up and drop from Grindelwald train stations. Will definitely stay here if I visit Grindelwald again.

Sejour au top la responsable est a l ecoute, et a fait un decor remarquable dans son établissement jai adore le style ! Endroit au calme sur les hauteurs de Grindelwald dans une ambiance chalet superbe, la vue est a couper le souffle sur la montagne Eiger ou le village de Grindelwald, le petit déjeuner est copieux et tres bon, sinon le repas du soir etait super bon rien à redire, la literie est de grande qualité et il y a un salon commun en bas qui m a impressionné de par sa conception, ca a ete cree avec gout et passion, ca se ressent ! Le personnel est aimable et vous vous sentirez comme chez vous, je vous conseille vivement cet établissement mon sejour y a ete fort agreable ! Bravo A l hotel Aspin !

Hotel a 3 km de Grindewald. Se puede en ir bus, gratis, al centro del pueblo. Buen desayuno, se cena muy bien y tranquilo. Excelente atención por parte de todo el servicio, sobretodo Marta, nos dio buenos consejos y nos ayudó mucho.
Deberán adaptarse al cambio climático, ya que no hay aire acondicionado, ni ventiladores. Hemos tenido temperaturas de 30 grados y mínimas de 20.

Our experience began when we booked, we selected 2 adults and 2 children through Expedia; usually the prices are very clear and they should match what the hotel will charge you, but in this case, they charged us an additional $25 CFH per kid per night, because they said we selected 2 kids ages zero in Expedia and ours are older than that, so we ended up paying $200 CHF extra just for that. Expedia knows the age of our group and I don’t recall selecting zero or anything to the ages of my kids.

Once we settled into the hotel, we noticed the room had a significant number of flies roaming around the room, they even have a fly swatter in every room, so there’s an ongoing pest problem and they expect you to take care of it. Also, they room was advertised as a suite with incredible views, and our view was in one side a backpacker’s camping site with tents and the other side someone’s backyard with a soccer filed, it turns out they use that soccer filed every day and every night. So, you might think twice about shelling north of $1,000 for a room with these conditions.

We ended up having to stay for dinner at night every night because there’s basically no transportation after 6:45PM. They offer you either a taxi which at night are almost impossible to get or their own ride which it costs $40 CHF per way available, so yeap, we chose to stay. To our surprise they charge you for tap water, per liter, so we got a $80 CFH charge for that.

We had an absolutely wonderful 3-night stay at the Aspen Alpin! Grindelwald was our favorite spot in Switzerland and we loved being a bit removed from the main restaurant/shopping area. We had a suite and we loved the extra space. And the mountain views from our room were incredible! The restaurant and service were excellent!
