Small hotel, big impression. The rooms are well equipped, spotlessly clean, and come with a balcony. Nothing to fault on that front.
The location is genuinely excellent. Two minutes on foot to the centre and the main sites, decent shops nearby, and a supermarket almost on the doorstep. Close enough to everything without being in the thick of it.
We were the only guests during our stay, which meant the couple who own and run the hotel gave us their full attention. They clearly take real pride in the place and couldn't do enough for you throughout. The owner's wife doesn't speak English but that was never an issue, communication was easy and warm throughout. Breakfast was great.
Castelbuono itself is a brilliant base. Cefalù and the surrounding area are all easily accessible, so if you're exploring that part of Sicily this is a very strong choice for where to stay.
Highly recommended, and worth seeking out specifically rather than settling for whatever comes up first in a search.

Cons:

if you need to park, you'll be a couple of streets away but in Sicily, that's nothing!

Bardzo miła obsługa, bardzo mili właściciele. Bardzo smaczne śniadanie. Dobra lokalizacja hoteliku. Wystrój wnętrz sycylijski, klasyczne pomarańczowe ściany ;)

An enjoyable stop on the edge of the National Park
Pros:

Very pleasant hotel on the main road into the village. Good breakfast and free on street parking along the road at the back. The room was clean and comfortable and it's an easy 10 minute uphill walk to the village centre and restaurants
