Struttura in mezzo alla natura, camere belle, ristorante ottimo , colazione perfetta.
I arrived at the hotel in the evening with dinner already scheduled, expecting a relaxing meal. Instead, I was seated completely alone in a large, empty dining room while two televisions blared different shows at the same time — not exactly the ambiance one hopes for. The dinner itself was shockingly underwhelming: store-bought ravioli, which the waiter oddly recommended, followed by a single veal chop as the main course. With just one glass of wine, the bill came to €40 — an absurd price for what felt like a microwaved meal.
My room was located at the far end of a corridor and had a door so paper-thin I could hear every single sound from the hallway. It offered no sense of privacy, and combined with the constant barking of dogs from properties surrounding the hotel, the night was anything but restful.
I won’t be returning to this hotel, and I wouldn’t recommend it to others.
Tonino was very hospital with maps & directions & places to see. The property is stunning, relaxing in a beautiful setting. The meals cooked by Tonino & his wife were excellent, with the seafood & fish outstanding. Definitely will be returning to this gem. Thanks Tonino.
The hotel enjoys a quiet typical rural environment with lovely gardens and beautiful mountain views. The reception is warm and efficient with great attention to detail. The breakfast was very good, and we hosted a meal for our local family in the restaurant which was fantastic with delicious locally sourced ingredients expertly presented and cooked to perfection. We look forward to staying at the Hotel De Reves in the future.
La struttura è dotata di un grande giardino molto curato e collegato al ristorante, dove è possibile pranzare/cenare.
Great check-in experience, very helpful and kind. Beautiful garden, great rooms, wonderful food. We really enjoyed our stay. Recommended!
I liked the convenient location for my purposes. Beautiful landscape. Nice breakfast buffet. Clean room.
I only speak English and it was difficult to communicate since most of the time, the staff spoke only Italian.
The decor of hotel is bit old fashioned but very nice. It’s a beautiful venue for weddings or private parties. The free breakfast included eggs, bacon, yogurt, meats and cheese, fruit, cereal, etc. We had one lunch and 3 dinners while we were there and the food was wonderful. The only complaint was for the super firm mattress that too hard for us. Wonderful place, wonderful people.
The hotel owner welcomed you…
Very quiet place..
great service
You MUST spent time in this structure!
Wonderful food, local food, fruits included.
And, very very kind.
Amazing
Un HOTEL da non perdere.
Cibo squisito, con prodotti e frutta locali, proprio dell'orto! Pazzeschi!!!
Tous s'est bien passé.
Le parc de cet hôtel est tout simplement extraordinaire. C'est magique et le propriétaire est très sympathique. Il nous a donné de bons conseils de balades.
We had a great time. The rooms are very comfortable and the service is terrific. Beautiful views. We loved our stay.
A beautiful green oasis with fantastic service. The grounds surrounding the hotel are magnificent. The room was spacious, very clean and had a lovely outdoor terrace with table and chairs. There was a parking area across the road, and they kindly let us check in early which was much appreciated. We had dinner at the hotel and it was superb as was the wine from the hotel's vineyard. We were there to visit Montecassino and the proprietor was helpful providing us with maps. I'd definitely recommend the hotel
The staff were extremely accomdating. The service excellent. An extremely comfortable gem. Will stay here again when in the region.
This hotel experience was one of the best we have ever had. The hotel is absolutely beautiful! It is off the beaten path and it was one of the only places we felt like we truly experienced Italian culture without tourist areas. The service is incredible. Antonino and his staff opened the restaurant for us even though it was closed because we arrived late due to traffic and were hungry. Breakfast was the best we had in Italy with lots of options and everything tasted fresh and homemade. The service was top notch. The garden is beautiful and it is close to Montecassino Abbey - just 8 miles up the mountain. We are so grateful for this experience and we are already planning a trip to come back when we can!
My family and I stayed here at Al Poggio di Casalucense back in August and truly enjoyed our visit. The owners are genuine people who take great pride in their establishment. By the end of our stay we felt like the owner was family and he had treated us as so. My family & I can not wait to someday return, I highly recommend this hotel if you are in the area and need a retreat away from tourists. The gardens here are absolutely beautiful & the water fountains were very relaxing. At night the courtyard comes alive with magical twinkle lights and fire torches leading out to the gardens......We dined here outside one evening & it was a memory I will never forget! They host events here which I am sure are fantastic! Keep in mind that if you are prone to mosquito's please bring bug spray for this was the only negative. The food was delicious, my family particularly loved the seafood. Breakfast here was also lovely, and the host will prepare anything that you may desire. We cannot thank the owners enough for being so kind & taking great care of us! You should definitely stay here if you are visiting or at the very least dine at their wonderful restaurant! - Thanks again for everything! Sincerely, The Cece Family
My son and I stayed at Al Poggio (little hill/ knoll) for four days to explore our family roots in the Val di Comino in July 2014. It was a great place to relax in the countryside. The gardens were fabulous by day and night - big, shady and beautifully kept. The owners were lovely and very helpful and the rooms clean and cool.
We were very pleased with the care and the interest the owner gave us, to make sure we were comfortable and happy.
This is a wonderful hotel. Not only is it extremely clean and peaceful with a beautiful garden
but the staff could not have been more helpful. When our camera battery ran down they leant us a plug adaptor so that we could recharge it and when it suddenly started to rain they leant us umbrellas. we shall certainly go back when we get the chance.
The hotel is run by wonderful family. Food and service were great. We would return.
