“this is an incredible place with incredible people.”
Pros:

This was one of the most beautiful hotels I have stayed in over 60 years of travel. But most importantly for me was the graciousness of the host and hostesses, the smile on their faces and they’re willingness to be of help. There is no match to the human touch when there was a feeling of affection.

Cons:

What I didn’t like was that I could not stay there two or three days more. If I return to Spain, God willing, I will not make this mistake again.

- En las zonas comunes hay algún escalón. Lo señalo solo porque es algo a tener en cuenta si se requiere un alojamiento accesible. Nosotros fuimos con silla de paseo y nos apañamos bien.

Pros:

Le bâtiment dans lequel se trouve l’hôtel est magnifique.

Cons:

Une forte odeur d’égouts sortait de la douche. Le ménage dans la chambre n’était pas bien fait les jours après notre arrivée. Je n’ai pas trouvé que les 5 étoiles de l’hôtel étaient justifiées.

What an amazing place. We love characterful historic buildings and this rates amongst the best. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The beds were extremely comfortable. We liked the bar and cafe which was an oasis of calm compared to the very busy cafes and restaurants in the town. The small garden was also a perfect beautiful relaxing space. We have never been to a hotel that was as clean as this one. The staff booked taxis for us and advised on places to go and good fish restaurants. There are just 15 rooms in this hotel so apart from breakfast we rarely saw any other guests so it did feel like the whole palace was ours. The air conditioning was good.

Not a 5*
Pros:

Great staff. very kind and helpful. All of them in different shifts were great with information requested, breakfast, etc

Cons:

We had two rooms. One of the rooms in floor 1 was fine in size but the room in in floor 2 was an atik and honestly it is not a 5 star room. Please do not tell me is 'Shabby chic'. It isn't for that fine old building. Both rooms did not have the air conditioning on. I called reception 3 times in the 2 nights we stayed. They would say 'yes, it is on' but it was not true. I know when an air con is working or not.
Because of this and the room in floor 2 that did not look great at all for a 5* I think that this hotel should be 4* and not 5*.

Also they charge for a car park in the patio of the property. I think it should be free.
