Sí, el alojamiento era precioso
El buffet, a pesar de que todo era de calidad y muy bueno, es escaso para la categoría del sitio y el lugar para tomar el desayuno, algo oscuro.
Le bâtiment dans lequel se trouve l’hôtel est magnifique.
Une forte odeur d’égouts sortait de la douche. Le ménage dans la chambre n’était pas bien fait les jours après notre arrivée. Je n’ai pas trouvé que les 5 étoiles de l’hôtel étaient justifiées.

What an amazing place. We love characterful historic buildings and this rates amongst the best. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The beds were extremely comfortable. We liked the bar and cafe which was an oasis of calm compared to the very busy cafes and restaurants in the town. The small garden was also a perfect beautiful relaxing space. We have never been to a hotel that was as clean as this one. The staff booked taxis for us and advised on places to go and good fish restaurants. There are just 15 rooms in this hotel so apart from breakfast we rarely saw any other guests so it did feel like the whole palace was ours. The air conditioning was good.

We had two rooms. One of the rooms in floor 1 was fine in size but the room in in floor 2 was an atik and honestly it is not a 5 star room. Please do not tell me is 'Shabby chic'. It isn't for that fine old building. Both rooms did not have the air conditioning on. I called reception 3 times in the 2 nights we stayed. They would say 'yes, it is on' but it was not true. I know when an air con is working or not.
Because of this and the room in floor 2 that did not look great at all for a 5* I think that this hotel should be 4* and not 5*.
Also they charge for a car park in the patio of the property. I think it should be free.

Everything about the hotel lived up to our expectation: the welcome, staff helpfulness, the beautiful and stylish room and the central location. We were also lucky to obtain the last parking space. We didn’t take breakfast but it looked excellent and good value if you want a full breakfast.
Nothing not to like; however GPS did take us a roundabout route because the main road to the hotel parking was chained off. If we had turned right instead of left at the chain and gone to the clearly signposted information office we would have found out how to access the parking.
Wonderful hotel with excellent staff. In the centre of the village/town (a bit touristy but attractive) close to good restaurants. Superb breakfast.
Very tastefully decorated property with loads of history. Beautiful gardens and car parking available (at a premium)
No view from an otherwise beautiful room, but maybe due to late booking and only attic being available. Also slight grumble on the cost of hotel parking at €20 per day. We paid €3.50 per day at very nearby public car park.
