Foarte ospitalieri.
Nimic.
Totally not worth the money. The breakfast was very meager. Even when we asked for at least two eggs the next day, the owners didn't do so.
Breakfast was sufficient but average.

L’emplacement, la chambre et l’accueil
The location is magical and the stuff is incredibly nice. Really gives it a family feeling in such a romantic spot.
Chateau Bourron was an exceptional experience. It is well situated for visiting key sites like Fontainebleau or Vaux le Vicomte and numerous other sites around the area. We wished we had left more time to relax and enjoy the Chateau and its beautiful surrounding park.
We should have allowed an extra day or two here.
Cadre magnifique !
Absolutely stunning
Having to leave
Beautiful property full of character and like no other stay we have had, we had the luxury of having the chateau all to ourselves and cannot wait to come back in the summer
Absolutely nothing
Chateau de Bourron wonderfully fit our design for a chateau stay easily reachable from Paris without a car. The Superior Room in the castle that we booked was everything that we expected, nicely decorated with playful jouy wallpaper for a pleasing French country feeling. At the same time modern plumbing, of special note a deep bathtub with enough hot water to fill it.
Monsieur and Madame Cordon were gracious hosts during the two nights that we stayed, available when needed but absent otherwise. We appreciated a ride to the train station when we were headed back to Paris.
We spent one night at Château-Hôtel de Bourron after visiting Fontainebleau Palace and had a really lovely stay. The grounds and buildings are beautifully kept, and the interiors have so much character. Our room was comfortable and nicely decorated, with just the right mix of charm and comfort. The main lobby and downstairs common rooms, decorated with antiques and tapestries, made us feel like we were stepping into the château’s history. The hosts were warm and welcoming, and breakfast was delicious. We wish we’d had more time to enjoy the peaceful setting before heading on our way.
On the last night of our holiday, we try to have an exceptional night. This trip, we chose Chateau-Hotel de Bourron and we were not disappointed. The historic Chateau which has been in the owner's family for many generations provides a piece of history and glamour. Like any old girl, the Chateau carries her history but carries it off with aplomb. The owners are gracious and helpful and our room was exactly what we had seen on the Chateau website. The option of having a lift to take our luggage to our third story room was a great bonus. The Chateau grounds are vast and fully invite strolling in the evening glow. The breakfast was excellent and we totally enjoyed our little slice of luxury before heading back home.
Nothing
This was an incredibly beautiful property. A chateau and its outbuildings. We arrived late afternoon and the sun on its walls was lovely, as were the reflections in the moat around it. After nightfall, it was beautifully lit. Decorating in the rooms was so beautiful and amenities (robe, slippers, toiletries, coffee/tee) were lovely. The common areas in the castle were also really special, with pictures of the owners and their children lovingly placed about (along with ancestors, and beautiful paintings of local scenes) and the book that the hosts provided about their family and the people who lived in the castle before them was a special touch. The hosts were so friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was super.
There was nothing we didn't love.
