The receptionists/waitresses were excellent helpful and friendly. The closeness to the city centre.
Nothing significant, perhaps the force of water in the bathroom wash basin. If you were not careful the water shot out of the handbasin and you has an involuntary shower.
Lovely quiet hotel, nice staff, great breakfast
The location is absolutely perfect to discover the old town and soak up the atmosphere. Parking was a 2 minute ride away. The staff were very friendly and the hotel is nicely decorated. Breakfast is served at the table but plan enough time as service was slow.
We had a double mattresses where you felt every single movement from the other person so we didn’t sleep well.
Tudo perfeito, localização, conforto , limpeza, educação dos funcionários, vale muito
Pena não ter estacionamento mas eles indicaram um a três quarteirões, ficou ótimo
fantastic location close to the cathedral, plentiful breakfast, great selection, large comfortable room, free water daily, complimentary truffles on last evening
nothing, it is an excellent hotel with fantastic staff
Beautiful, spacious room in a quiet but central location. Cannot this recommend property enough
Contemporary design in a great location close to the historic center. Comfortable beds and very nice room.
Lack of air conditioning, but good ventilation in the room.
Maria was amazing -
Excellent Location
Good Decor
Polite and helpful staff
Small and uncomfortable bed.
AC and fridge barely functional (Room 100). Very humid and damp. Had to make do with pedestal fan.
No kettle/cups/glasses in the room
This hotel was reserved by our Camino tour company, Follow the Camino, at the end of our 12-day trek. It is ideally located just a few minutes’ walk from the Cathedral. Everything about this hotel is wonderful: the facilities are first-rate, the service is excellent, and the freshly prepared daily breakfast gave us a great boost for our additional days exploring the Camino to Fisterre.
The best part of this already outstanding hotel is the staff. You’ll receive five-star treatment like you would at those premier thousand-dollar hotels. Alba and Patricia took care of just about everything for us—they found and reserved the best restaurants in town, arranged our stress-free transfers, and, without us even asking, prepared breakfast to go for us on our way out.
Top-notch 24-hour service at a boutique hotel is something we don’t often experience. We have a few more Caminos de Santiago in our future, and one thing is certain: Hotel Altair will always be our destination for resting our aching pilgrim feet!
Buen Camino!
