Very well located hotel with atmosphere and tourist attractions close by.
Pros:

Attractive historic building facing the rear of the Cathedral/Mosque close to the river and Roman bridge. Hotel was quiet although daytime activity not far away. Good base for both the old town and to wander through the city. Short taxi ride from train and coach station. Car park on opposite side of the river. Reasonable sized room with period furniture. Good bed and hot water. Friendly helpful staff.

Cons:

The central covered courtyard seating area was not particularly comfortable and some of the period looking furniture had seen better days. The integral cafe was disappointing and the staff seemed a little stressed.

I was very happy with the hotel and would happily recommend it to anyone.
Pros:

Location is excellent, the room was quiet at night, the bed was comfortable, it was very clean. Very friendly staff (manned 24hrs). It is a traditional old hotel with character, which is appealing to me.

La verdad que no puedo decir nada en contra, todo estupendo, iba un poco temiendo el ruido de las habitaciones como había leído en algunos comentarios, pero tengo que decir que yo no he escuchado nada, no sé si por la ubicación de la habitación, que puede ser, pero vamos yo 0 ruido. Y por decir algo en contra, el desayuno un poco caro que yo pensaba que lo llevaba incluido y no era así por lo que el precio un poco elevado pero por lo demás, excelente.

The location is very central. The cafe attached to the hotel is very good and a lovely spot for relaxing.

Cons:

The hotel would not let us have a second key to the room they said because the system does not allow it. This was quite inconvenient if you want to come and go separately. The entrance was often locked even in the early evening, perhaps because it was the Semana Santa.

Central and authentic
Pros:

The hotel is centrally located on a cobbled street, right next to the walls of the cathedral. Staff were welcoming and the check-in process was pretty straightforward. The room was located at the end of an airy atrium, which provided a pleasant place to sit. The room was compact, with tasteful period looking furniture. The only external/natural light is from windows facing on to the atrium, with the configuration meaning that moist air from within the room has, at times, difficulty escaping. The bed was comfortable and the walk-in shower and ablution facilities worked well. As advertised, there was no kettle in the room. The Roman Bridge is very close and it is easy to walk to this and the narrow streets further into the town. The cathedral next door is magnificent, but you need to book well in advance to get a timed entry slot.

Cons:

The option for breakfast is in an open area adjoining the hotel, where individual items are selected from a priced menu. The area is equally open to non-residents and overall the service was other than good. However, there are plenty of other opportunities nearby.
