A gem in the city!
Pros:

Ideally located within the Roman Palace walls in the heart of this charming city. Nela & Ivana on Reception were so friendly & helpful. We felt so looked after. An ideal place to stay with our adult children. We greatly appreciated the terrace outside our room. Thank- you.

Cons:

Our room was a little tired and cramped but otherwise everything was great.

It was our first time in Croatia, and it was everything we expected.

Recommend. A real treat!
Pros:

Really great location, very special to be inside all the culture and history but have the comfort and convenience with it. Staff were exceptional, helpful and friendly.

Cons:

Nothing. We stayed over a weekend so it’s noisy due to all the nearby eateries but not noisy very late and the windows were very sound proof if needed.

Old town characterful, authentic, historic, little hotel in the heart of Split
Pros:

This lovely characterful historic hotel is right in the heart of old town Split in the prettiest little quiet corner 1 minute walk from the harbour and stylish promenade and away from the hustle and bustle of visitors. The room is within thick stone walls and louvred shutters in Split sea green on the windows. Mornings the sounds of distant bells. It’s idyllic. The reception team of Nela and Ivana are friendly, professional intelligent and so genuine and Nela kindly liaised with our next hotel in English to arrange a surprise for his birthday. Nothing is too much trouble. Nicolas at breakfast kindly made my ketogenic diet challenges easy remembering what I liked. All staff brought their own personalities and were natural and made you feel so relaxed. Excellent big bathroom, power shower, deep crisp cotton comfy bed, kettle, the usual favourites. Location, Location, location - everything super close.

Cons:

Sadly we could not get access to the roof garden where you needed to book ahead and pay 20€ just to go up there however instead 4 steps away there is an excellent cosy bar and restaurant outside so not a problem.
