Super soggiorno!
Pros:

Non mi aspettavo potesse essere così bella! Lo spazio interno — nel pieno centro storico di Ragusa — è grandissimo e super rilassante. La cura nei dettagli, i pavimenti in pietra pece e la pulizia sono davver
o strabilianti. Inoltre, a pochi passi si trovano la cattedrale e una scalinata stupenda che porta direttamente a Ibla.

Prachtig hotel, beetje verscholen aan het eind van een schuin aflopend straatje op de grens tussen Ragusa bovenstad en Ragusa Ibla. We hadden een standaardkamer geboekt, maar tot onze vreugde gaf frontdeskmanager Matteo ons een hele fijne upgrade. Een mooie kamer op de tweede verdieping met vanuit drie ramen uitzicht op het dal, Ragusa Ibla, de parkachtige tuin beneden en het zwembad. We hebben er twee dagen lang elke minuut van genoten. ‘s Avonds lekker gegeten in restaurant Scala del Gusto - ligt om de hoek van het hotel, een paar minuten lopen - buiten op het terras met schitterend uitzicht over de oude stad.

A beautifully restored villa in a great position

The authenticity and the district plus a great relaxing pool and terrace

Cons:

There was nothing to dislike but it just needed a bit more attention to detail - no hooks for towels in the bathroom, not enough fresh fruit for breakfast and quite minimal, the beds need toppers as they are very hard too, no pool towels offered, we had to ask reception to change the aircon setting

Estancia maravillosa en Ragusa
Pros:

Nos gustó todo. La habitación y el desayuno excepcionales. Matteo fue muy amable y nos hizo sentir como en casa. La chica que nos recibió también. El hotel es una antigua casa espectacular con una piscina estupenda y un restaurante fantástico a cien metros. Para volver.

Soggiorno eccezionale a Villa del Lauro. Struttura elegante, curata nei minimi dettagli e con un fascino autentico che si percepisce appena si entra. Le camere sono ampie, pulitissime e arredate con gusto raffinato, perfette per un relax totale.

Il personale è semplicemente impeccabile: gentile, disponibile e sempre attento senza mai essere invadente. La colazione è ricca, di qualità e con prodotti freschi che valorizzano il territorio.

Piscina e spazi esterni sono un’oasi di tranquillità, ideali per staccare davvero la spina. Posizione perfetta per visitare Ragusa e dintorni.

Esperienza che supera le aspettative: difficile trovare un difetto. Consigliatissimo, ci tornerei senza pensarci due volte.

Wunderschön gelegenes, sehr authentisches Hotel – perfekt, um die Altstadt zu erkunden. Das historische Gebäude mit hohen Decken und geschmackvoll eingerichteten, großen Zimmern hat viel Charme. Besonders gefallen haben uns der schöne Garten und der gepflegte Poolbereich. Auch das Frühstücksbuffet war absolut ausreichend und liebevoll gestaltet. Wichtig zu wissen: Der Ort und das Hotel sind aufgrund der vielen Stufen nicht barrierefrei. Insgesamt ein sehr stilvoller und besonderer Aufenthalt.

La gentillesse du personnel, l'emplacement, les produits du petit déjeuner et les produits d'hygiène de qualité dans la salle de bain. Nous avons eu la surprise et la joie d etre surclassés dans la suite 9: superbe ! Merci à tout le personnel et nous avons déjà envie de revenir.

Breakfast could be better (no bread, only toasts), no cheese, bad croissants. Unreliable technical staff was not able to change damaged shower hose in two days. Fatalistic mentality of some staff at the reception for not doing anything: this is Sicily!
