Little Diamond Hotel

We stayed at Little Diamond Hotel during our trip to Hanoi. The location was definitely a highlight — it’s very central and within walking distance to major attractions like Hanoi Train Street and other vibrant, happening areas.

However, for vegetarians like us, the breakfast options were quite limited. We mostly had to settle for bread, butter, and some fruits, which was a bit disappointing.

In terms of cleanliness, the hotel was just okay. The rooms and common areas could definitely benefit from more thorough cleaning and attention to detail.

Overall, it's a decent budget option if you prioritize location over amenities, but there’s room for improvement, especially in cleanliness and food variety.

Convenient to walk around the Old Quarter. Nice to have breakfast included and room is nice. Friendly lady at reception desk.

this property was clean and safe. I would stay here again. The breakfast buffet had a lot to choose from.

Great location in heart of bustling Old Quarter. Street traffic noisy despite us being on 4th floor & little concrete balcony showing small cracks & black mould on bathroom ceiling corner were a concern. Staff were great & very helpful. We were only there 2 nights & spent very little time in the hotel in so served purpose okay. Hotel breakfast was convenient, tasty and good variety.

For the price you pay you get an amazing stay with b'fast. And the location is the best. It's in the middle of old quarter.

Hotel have perfect location- just in the centre, where are restaurants and market nearby.

Towels and bedsheets were clean, but hotel is bit old, and room overall wasn't 100% clean and on the walls was a bit of mould, and we found 1 cockroach inside the room.

The rooms are good value for money, the staff is very friendly, the breakfast is good (although I was personally missing "normal" milk for my coffee, but I'm aware that this might not be standard in Asia), the location is very convenient for checking out the old quarter of Hanoi. Lots of nice places to eat close by.

旧市街のメインストリートに面したホテル。まぁ色々と物足りないトコはあるけど、完璧求めるならシェラトンでも泊まればエエ事。
ホテルは少し古いけど充分な快適さで、観光の拠点としては申し分無い。
朝食は正直お粗末ながら、オムレツは卵２個使用でボリューム満点（頼まないと出ない）

不満を言うなら、トイレが旧式シャワータイプなのと、ベッドでライトコントロール出来ない事ぐらいかな。次も安かったらココにすると思います。

Little noisy but overall good

Staff was very polite and very helpful. They helped us book our airport transfer from hotel to airport. Breakfast was very good.

We stayed at this hotel, a family room (a king bed and two single beds) for four nights.
The room was large, yet the room was old. There were some need to be fixed as well. For example, the TV in the room was completely broken, the bathtub had black stains and cracks, and sealing was falling out here and there.
The staff were kind and helpful. However, only some staff were able to communicate in English. Since we did not know Vietnamese, it was sometimes difficult to get ourselves understood.
Breakfast was included, but we did not use the service at all because we wanted to try different food during our short stay in Hanoi. There were plenty of restaurants and coffee shops around.
It is not a luxurious hotel or anything, but we had a satisfactory time there. I have nothing to complain, but if I have another chance visiting Hanoi, I would probably try different facility since there are so many other options in the city.
